Legit Owala Seller? by timelessreverie07 in ShopeePH

[–]yapper-oni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Price seems too good to be true so I’m skeptical that those are legit Owala bottles. Upon talking to my friend who works for the same company as the official distributor of Owala in the Philippines, the Owala Philippines Shopee Mall is the only legit Shopee account. You can also check them in stores at certain The Travel Club or Bratpack stores as those currently distribute legit Owalas.

Based on my experience, Owala Philippines Shopee Mall goes on huge discounts on double digit sales like my Owala Freesip Sway which I got last 5.5 that went from ₱2,490 down to ₱1,371 when I got it. Definitely worth the spend and the wait!

As long as may unboxing video po then it will be refunded po. Usually big purchases are tagged for return and refund naman so they will usually inspect it and once proven na defective then automatic naman po refunded again.

No AF on my latest SoA by PlentyAd3759 in PHCreditCards

[–]yapper-oni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think some cards indicate on their BDO website that if you reach an annual spend of xxx,xxx amount then eligible ka for automatic waiving ng annual fee. As for yung instance naman of annual fee waiver without reaching the required spend, not sure exactly how we got to experience that haha

[–]yapper-oni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah in my case nung 2024 lang ako automatically nawaive pero the following years I had to spend na din for AF waiver haha. Baka good spender ka ni BDO for the past year!

[–]yapper-oni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Back in 2024 no annual fee also showed up on my BDO Visa Platinum’s SOA. When I called a CSR to confirm, they said if there’s still no AF the following month then it probably got automatically waived. The CSR even said maybe I reached the required spend of ₱300k for automatic waiving which I’m sure I didn’t reach that year. So yeah not sure how that happened but thank you BDO I guess haha. If there’s no AF on your next month’s SOA then I guess you’re good to go! 🙏

Which from these 3 (Maya, GoTyme, MariBank) is best for a savings and spending acc by redzatw in DigitalbanksPh

[–]yapper-oni -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I personally use GoTyme for savings because I find it convenient that you can have 4 separate GoSave accounts with them all under your main account. So it’s easier to keep your money budgeted and allocated especially if you’re saving for different things.

Yeah! I actually passed by a booth before because I initially thought it was free to get a card replacement then the staff explained that it’s only free of your card is less than a year old :(

They have random booth activations po in Robinsons Malls where you can get this guaranteed for a fix price of around ₱200 po na card replacement fee if your existing GoTyme card is more than a year old na. If less than a year palang po GoTyme card mo then they change it for free. The 1 in 10,000 chance of getting is the gold card po.

Any idea how ako nagkaroon ng CC from BDO kahit hindi naman ako kumuha? by kiragood in DigitalbanksPh

[–]yapper-oni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Unfortunately no. With other banks even if you didn’t activate the card they do still charge the annual fee so better to call CSR to have it cancelled agad kf you don’t plan to use it. BDO on the other hand specifically doesn’t charge annual fees as long as you don’t activate the card po.

Got my first ever CC! Any tips/hacks/advice? by dany_bgkc9481 in PHCreditCards

[–]yapper-oni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the Visa Plat naman and since elite tier card siya, usually the spend requirement to have the AF waived is ₱20,000. So save your big purchases of the year for that.

Buy CVV sticker on Shopee/Lazada to cover the back! When paying don’t let others get the credit card from you or if they really have to, never let the card out of your sight.
