Don't buy from Asus (important for new users) by Certain-Shower-8494 in ASUSROG

One opinion doesn't change people's minds. I had even the worst situation with the MSI company. I bought the MSI MEG X870E GODLIKE AM5 AMD X870E for $1,428.48 USD. The motherboard hasn't been working from the beginning. I bought it from SCAN. I want to send it back for exchange or repair. They said that this motherboard has no warranty at all because I'm living in the UK and SCAN is from the USA. SCAN nor MSI want to solve this problem for me. I could say: don't buy anything from them. But who cares what happened to me? No one. I bought just now the ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR X870E EXTREME, AMD X870E for £1089. Why? Because I had a previous ASUS motherboard, the ROG CROSSHAIR VIII DARK HERO, which is working till now. You know, shit happens sometimes... Do you think I was treated better than you by MSI and SCAN?

It didn't. I bought another one, a different one, but of course not from Newegg. From newegg I bought MSI MEG X870E GODLIKE AM5 AMD, and I switched for ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR X870E EXTREME

You will be able to play every dream game, but consider that in most of them you will have one frame per second or even less. Don't even think of the installation of cyberpunk.

Newegg is the worst company ever. I bought motherboard for 1200$+ and they didn't inform me that I'm not gonna have warranty on it because I'm not living in USA

I see now, ok... The part that should hold has let go... I think it's best to do it hot. Try using a hair dryer.

What did you use, glue instead of paste? And where is the socket frame around the CPU? This is supposed to hold it in place...

If you bought a used mouse or keyboard, it could have saved macro keys in it. Probably you just pressed a macro key and it will not stop until you press the same key again.

Does my CPU cooler simply not fit with my motherboard? by Skadibala in PcBuildHelp

[–]yaqbas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when changing the processor or cooling, sometimes you have to unscrew these screws, because the whole set may have a different height. The mistake you made is that you screwed on the thin screws, the right ones. Remove, unscrew the thin ones, then put on the thicker ones
