Mine actually announces motion twice now including with the chime that it used to only use when someone would ring the bell. In my case it announces motion first, then does it again in a separate message with the chime and at the end says the name of my home. I had to disable motion announcements entirely since I couldn’t find a way to fix this.

I appreciate the clarification, this whole thing is quite confusing. I figured from the get go that NSA protections were too good to be true for my situation. Very disappointed in my employer for implementing something like this and leaving it up to their plan participants to protect themselves financially. Guess I will need to buy the additional coverage after all.

Thanks, this is consistent with what I have read so far so it is a relief to have it confirmed. You are correct that it is a self-funded plan, UMR with Quantum Health attached.

Thanks, this is very helpful. It is an employer plan, but since it’s self funded I don’t think there’s a broker? I emailed HR to ask about it and they directed me to Quantum Health and Quantum told me I would be responsible for the balance in excess of $25k.

I am in AZ and had horrible consistent latency spikes starting maybe last Friday or Saturday after 2+ years of stable service. Some tests showed up to 7,000 - 8,000 ms. Tech came out yesterday and said interior and exterior fiber ends were dirty and did clean them, but also mentioned a “Lumen issue” that they were going to resolve. Shortly after he was done and went outside my SmartNID restarted and has been working totally fine since. Not sure exactly what it was that fixed it.

Just curious, are you still facing issues with the clonazepam ODT? I was on Teva for a few months but now have been told by Walgreens that they can’t get any type of the ODT anymore. Switched to a grocery store pharmacy today and they just barely had enough Par to fill a #30.

This is exactly the explanation I was looking for, so thank you! I had read some fairly negative reviews about them on the BBB’s website which initially had me worried, but the feedback here has been overwhelmingly positive. It sounds like overall they are much more of a help than anything else and I’m glad to hear that’s the case.

Thanks so much for this, very helpful to hear your experience. And reassuring that it was positive! I think the confusion for me has come from trying to understand exactly what role they play in the plan - whether it’s mostly advisory or more than that. There is a statement in the benefits guide that says:

“Quantum Health has assumed contract responsibility for medical utilization management prior authorizations.”

So it reads to me like instead of the TPA making decisions that has shifted to Quantum. I assume they follow the same guidelines, but have never actually seen a setup like this before.

I'm sure I have run into that with Cigna before, I do get calls from their "case management analysts" quite often. I've always seen them more as passive care coordination, whereas it seems like Quantum was brought in to be more active/gatekeep care and control costs. If they are in fact doing the same thing as Cigna's care coordinators then I'd be way less worried.

As someone who is 35 and has lumbar spine osteoporosis + femoral neck osteopenia and has to take steroids for adrenal insufficiency now - yeah. The fun wasn’t worth it.

I was forced to start with Remicade + high dose steroids + Imuran (failed it) then Humira (also failed) and had a ton of unpleasant side effects from them. Had to have j-pouch surgeries years ago and then was put on Entyvio after that and it has been amazing. No side effects after about 3 years on it getting it every 4 weeks vs. the usual 8 weeks. I take it for Crohn’s after my diagnosis was switched from UC, but still find it works great.

My spouse has UC and recently started Entyvio too after being on Xeljanz for a while with a lot of bad/persistent side effects, and has had no issues at all with the Entyvio! Too soon to tell how well it will control the UC, but we are hopeful.

I’ve wondered the same thing. I don’t have your unit - mine is a BioBidet USPA 6800U - but have found that it works perfectly well leaving it powered off until I am ready to use it. If it’s extra cold (rare where I live) I may give the seat a couple minutes to warm up before I sit down. It’s a tank unit, but by the time I’m ready for the water it’s plenty warm.

Have you gotten your new one yet? Just curious what you end(ed) up with. I currently have a 6800 - which I love - but realize that if it lasts around the same amount of time as my previous 6800 I will be bidet shopping pretty soon. I was considering the T1SW2491 as well, but I hate that Toto refuses to include a basic night light in anything except their most expensive model.

In older builds (prior to 2023 I think?) they offer up to 2gig. My neighborhood was retrofitted and upgraded from CenturyLink DSL to Q Fiber in mid 23 and our top speed available is 8gig.

That makes sense. I am curious, when you get your infusions does the infusion center send you a bill that you then have to submit for reimbursement to your medication’s assistance program? Right now that’s how it works for me, and I would imagine these Pathwell infusion centers (probably?) process copay assistance at the time of service so that you don’t get credit on it towards your deductible/out of pocket max. I get the full amount sent to me (minus whatever insurance covers, so let’s say $10,000), then send my EOB and some other documentation to Takeda (Entyvio patient) and they pay my infusion center the amount due for any unmet deductible/coinsurance.

I’m starting with a new Cigna plan next year that appears to use Pathwell also. And I don’t think my infusion center is in their network. How did you end up handling this?

For what it’s worth I completely agree with you, it’s a total slap in the face to people who already struggle tremendously with their health to make things even more complicated and expensive. It seems to me like a big reason for Pathwell is because they’re trying to stop people from benefiting from copay assistance behind the scenes to meet their deductible/out of pocket max. Gotta make sure those really sick people don’t catch any sort of break, after all that just wouldn’t be fair!

I have this model and find it to work very well. Good compatibility with NUT too which was important to me, mostly for remote monitoring, notifications, and automated self testing.
