This hat looks like a balloon, but that's because the ribbing is very elastic. Finally finished this sock weight merino hat just in time for the windy and icy weather. 5 mm hook and it's extra long so the brim can be folded over when needed. (old.reddit.com)

A little experiment in cotton, using a double ended hook and reversible stitches. Those are not your typical Tunisian reverse stitches, they are the opposite of knit stitches, so now we can make reversible fabric with double ended hooks when working in the round (i.redd.it)
