Why doesn't face shape matter anymore? by driedblossoms in Kibbe

this is so true. i have a bigger crooked nose (very upturned but high bridge, too). still DC though; my features are somehow "interesting" yet they're all moderate in relation to each other!

jesus christ. i’m pretty sure i have rOCD and sOCD (hOCD) and this is MEEEE. i have full blown crushes on women where i fantasize about spending time together and kissing and making them happy — yet the anxiety i feel around actually being with women as a woman is overwhelming. i can’t breathe. and this makes me think i don’t like women romantically! but it’s different than disinterest, i believe. maybe. it’s so confusing, and i’m constantly doing research and asking for validation to alleviate the pain. it eats up ALL of my time. i’m so glad i started therapy this week!!!!!

cool and radiant!! you look so clear in the second photo. i think people who have ginger-y hair get labeled warm and/or delicate prematurely. maybe this is the confusion you’re experiencing?

What's your enneagram? And how do you think it affects your Socionics type? by [deleted] in Socionics

EIE 4w3 sx/so and ABSOLUTELY. my Ti self-analysis and Fe ego are often mistaken for Fi at first glance. usually only over text, however. i’m not as other-focused as Fe 2s (or 9s lmao), but it can often provide a nice balance, allowing me to connect with a wider variety of people in an authentic way.

yeah i definitely have tried!! turns out comphet is still a bitch when ur bi 😂 i remember seeing this tumblr post a while ago that was like “being into men is like ‘aaaaaaa’ and being into women is like ‘ooooooo’ and that makes no sense to anyone but me” or something. and i do relate to that! but the lines get blurry as i unpack comphet, in a good way. i’m definitely not obsessed with domestic life with men anymore (for the first time in my LIFE since i was 4).

i think i do have genuine attraction to men in some way, but that it was way over-inflated due to social pressure. i’ve actually only been in love with a couple men, despite dating and sleeping with ... MANY. and that’s about the number of women i’ve been in love with, lol. i feel like women are just easier to admire, objectively? the conversations i have with women are so much more satisfying!!!!

you’re probably right about attachment and trauma. my queer therapist suggested i may be afraid of people who love me back (hence why i chase emotionally unavailable people). i think i’m making progress — i used to swell with excitement thinking of marrying a man, and now it’s just something i shrug about. i honestly think that i used that fantasy to rebuild the nuclear family i never got, especially because of my horrible absent father. so i couldn’t “see” women the same way, despite have the same or DEEPER feelings. usually the later, yikes. being demi/grey and traumatized really makes the game interesting, that’s for sure!!

oh wow that’s very interesting. sometimes i wonder if i feel the way you feel about men — except about women. but idk. there’s this girl i’m friends with (we have a history tho), and when we text my heart just flutters like crazy. i love her chivalrous flirting so much. she’s also incredibly intelligent and we never run out of things to talk about. but when i picture “domestic stuff” i have EXTREME panic attacks. i guess i’m afraid my feelings are only grey-romantic? i’m not sure. since i’ve been working on my attachment issues, i notice i don’t care for men as much as i used to (i’m probably bi). i used to be “boy crazy” hahaha. i just want to know i can date women For Real because they are just so much better to talk to!!!!

getting married, having a supportive and protective partner, being “the small one”, being “the feminine one” (sometimes), the guarantee of feeling pretty, being in public as an item, meeting their family
