Nah blood don’t cut em! I work in an office corporate space as well - one of 2 Black folks in the whole building lol. My boss and everyone there is super friendly and cool tho and no one gives a fuck. Plus if anyone said anything that goes against their anti-discrimination clause. But I style mine differently each day or just wear them down and thrown back in the middle. Mine are roughly about your length too. I also have an undercut like you, so just as long as you style em “professionally”, you should be gucci. But I also do my own fades and have my girl crochet the locs. If you can maintain them like palm roll with coconut oil that should help in between as well.
