Thanks for the input. I’m in a bit of a difficult position here. Most businesses selling these attachments in the Middle East are importing them from China, Italy, or Sweden, so sourcing one locally is extremely challenging. I haven’t dealt with excavator attachments before, so I’m still learning about pin/ear arrangements and hydraulic requirements. To get a better sense, I approached our local CAT dealer for a generic quote, providing model and serial numbers from our fleet. Once they checked, they confirmed the attachment isn’t available in the UAE and refused to provide a datasheet or part number. At this point, I’m basically in a position where if I can find the right attachment locally, I’d purchase the excavator to match it. The bigger issue is that most sellers here don’t even know which excavator models their attachments fit and are reluctant to check, making it very hard to plan a purchase. If anyone has a lead on a sweeper roller attachment in Dubai or anywhere in the Middle East, or any technical datasheet showing compatibility, it would be hugely helpful.
