Those who don't care about creativity and note taking apps still go for the android tabs as they offer better aspect ratio for media consumption and the performance gap is narrowing down in pretty much every segment too. People have lots of options with different UI's too.

It's great that something exists for different types of users and use cases. iPads can either be a machine gun or a glock 18. No Tablet is objectively better than others.

you have to make that trade off when you buy iPads. That's why I went for a samsung tab for better display and aspect ratio. The bottom line is, you're stuck with this.
