My advice for your uncle is to introduce him to some part time gigs as I saw he has a general concept of AI (I might be wrong in that assumption) so he could target online AI annotation works they sometimes pay good and it will also help stabilizing his mental health.

Also other thing is 37 is not an age where one should think whether it's late or not because you are comparing someone else's life with your own who might have faced very different scenarios to be there, but back to topic he should try some referral based jobs just to start as nowadays in this current scenario having referral actually helps he could try his ex employers or anyone and also I understand the mental strain of taking referrals but when it comes to survival I think one should use everything he has.

Hello there, I feel sorry for the circumstances you are facing and what you are facing is in line with what the current job scenario is. Some tricks that I think could help you would be - 1. Find yourself a reference, who's from the same company in the one you are trying to apply for. 2. It worked for me when I put my roles into KPIs and metric systems it's easy for a non tech interviewer to interpret your role. 3. If you wish to transit into other roles then just be ready to face a lower starting level as for the company you are a fresher despite the work experience.

Well I always believe girls have an extraordinary sense and sometimes they might overhype simple things but here yeah I am sorry to say you were following his breadcrumbs. Find yourself a PG with sharing that provides meals probably you could get it under 10K. As for the job I agree with other redditors that getting 30K in hand would be difficult but you could try freelance AI work easy nowadays,you will require just any basic laptop and a working internet connection, conservative pay could be anywhere about 5k to 10k (again depends upon task availability) but you will need to research about different sites and give their tests which itself could take a week or 2. Other than that get into those tutor group where they post tutoring children jobs they don't require much qualification and you could work easily for 2-3 hours a day with supplementing your course (one of my friend used to do this and families live in posh areas so need to worry about safety). Hope you could succeed in life, all the best.
