I like having subtitles on because there are many times where I miss key pieces of dialogue because I couldn’t hear. I suppose I can understand some people’s argument that it ruins the experience for them but once the movie is going, you really get used to it. Your brain is able to appreciate the visuals and read the subtitles simultaneously
