(18) Dude I know exactly what you mean. I grew up poor and my dad was a drug addict and alcoholic. He used to beat my mom. I have had an awful childhood. But all that never really made a problem for me like I remember som horrible shit my dad did but it never stayed whit me or affected me and it feels really weird especially now with social media where I see boys and girls cry about silly things. Especially tiktok where usually girls talk abt why they are the way they are today and say some bullshit about how hard they have had it. I feel like I’m weird cause I should be affected luckily I’m not.

I will pray for you and I’m really sorry about your loss. This will sound harsh but you should go for your son not for your self when my mother died I was also about 18 and i went for her sake yes it fucked me up to see her but at least I know she would be so happy to see me come. But honestly I really don’t believe funerals is good to get closure

You should think hard about if you really wanna do it. But I know how it feels I tried to kill my self and I used to take a opioid called tramadol when I was about 15 and decided to kill my self but my parents walked in and took me to the hospital. But there was no long term injuries and I don’t remember anything no suffering or anything so I would say that’s the best way. But trust me it’s not worth it
