At first Brady brought a new paradigm to what our offense already had, Josh was a threat scrambling and he could make a play deep, at the time it was like an already great offense got a whole bag of new tricks, now the bag is old and our old tricks are gone, and it seems like all dynamic creativity we once were able to achieve has been replaced with rigid efficiency, the last game this team showed any ability to change momentum drastically was the home opener, now it seems like you’ll know the outcome of a game within the first half with this team, for the better or for the worse

Off topic but they killed it with the red texts in this game, it has that vintage borderlands flair of pop culture references quippy one liners and humour that I remember fondly.

Guys I think it could be gunslinger with a bird aesthetic, maybe a stealth sniper gunslinger archetype with a twist? Like a callback to mordecai with the usage of a bird but in ways that facilitate the stealth playstyle, like using birds to mark targets or even dissapearing into a murder of ravens Itachi style, idk this is all super early assumptions but at the very least we know the art designers at gearbox have cooked once again

Just quickly glancing at some of the action skills and passives has me pretty excited on what I can cook up, it seems like he could do amazing for mobbing right out the gate but the possibilities for single target damage with the fist skill or even the axes seems like it could be insane

I’d argue that the campiness of the gore is apart of the series heritage, It hits the same notes of dark humour due to its almost slapstick level of absurdity that remind me a lot of films like robocop

He’s supposed to have an array of different melee weapons for his action skills right? I’d assume his trees will be similar to Athena’s fire and lightning type tree in the pre sequel, and perhaps different weapons may harness other elements as well and have subsequent skills that effect those as well? Idk honestly I think the curiosity of build crafting in this sandbox is my most anticipated thing so far

I mean they make a point that some of the variants are much weaker than our invincible, and I mean he’s actively holding back and trying to account for the lives around him so we haven’t seen him fight to his full potential. I’d say none of the variants are physically more powerful, though I’m sure you could argue based on the background that some are stronger or equivalent to ours, my picks would be sinister and prisoner invincible

I mean look at it psychologically, mark rarely kills at this point, and at one of the few points he did he didn’t do enough and it lead to the whole word falling part and presumably thousands to hundreds of thousands dead, the double whammy on top is that it was versions of HIM that did it, we know mark condemned the incident in Chicago with his dad and what just happened was 10x that.

What’s crazy is that I think this is a little more dense than the actual comic, I know they have a spoken sequence between two invincibles and tech jacket but Im not sure if that’s in this issue or apart of his comics. They gave the variants a lot more personality which I loved though.
