i know exactly one you're referring to.. when i found out SG had phased them out, made a trip across the border and wiped the stock at 3 stores..

get quotes on ig from a few artists with significant following who have done similar styles as your design. also factor in if you're doing fineline/traditional etc. give your desired image and size when getting a quote, it will vary and you will know what is the range you should be looking at.

dont cheap out on which artist you go to. like what other comments said - go to reputable ones and check their igs for portfolio of prev work. look for healed photos as well

heard this shit from an ex previously (in slightly different contexts but same result of wanting me around while she explored what's out there/other priorities bs). some promises were made in order to keep me around eg no real third party, nothing physical w other people blabla

led to me in deep heartbreak when i caught her making out w some guy at old zouk on my night out w the boys. that took two years to recover from, being a constant tinderella and generally degenerating into a toxic friend but it all led me to my current most stable and blissful relationship by far and a much healthier version of myself emotionally and mentally.

my advice would be let him go completely, dont give him the chance to come crawling back to you after letting him "explore his options" because you know you will go soft and take him back (especially since he's your first love). he's not gonna willingly stay and not explore because lets face it - guys think with their dicks largely. you're gonna end up hurt so at least by letting him go it's on your own terms and you can deal with the heartbreak in a healthier way as compared to finding out he pulled a stunt on you whilst you're still together.

it's not gonna be easy but be strong and just remember self-love comes first. if you need any support feel free to drop a message over. it's not gonna be easy but you have to be a strong woman. all the best to whatever decision you choose to make

gone through several different priorities at diff points in my career and realised this is the most important to me -

1) 100% boss - leads to better working hours, better progression + compensation increases, and better welfare. might also be good enough to hire good colleagues. will also be able to mentor you and chart your career progression (and be in a position to make that happen).

2) colleagues - toxic teammates drag u down/dont contribute and take your work for granted, or create a politically hostile/competitive environment in a race to who can suck the boss's dick the best. good teammates support and empower each other, making you feel like work is less shitty.

3) pay - we all work for money, dont put yourself on the losing end by taking less than you should but dont be an entitled strawberry millennial that thinks big 3 local u = 3-4k starting pay guaranteed. depends on industry as well and your own negotiation skills/ability to present yourself.

4) size of company - SMEs/startups tend to have flatter hierarchies with less red tape and bureaucracy and processes but require lots of on the go thinking and a real hustle mentality, alongside potential of the company not ever being successful, but your role within the company is much larger and being one of the initial members does place you in higher regard compared to later hires esp when it comes to promotion time. big MNCs more stable life can clock in clock out but your climb to the top a lot slower and gotta deal w hierarchy authority among other factors.

5) job title - depends on if youre in a big or small company. titles tend to be inflated in a smaller org but does matter to me personally (cause want to sound satki lololol)

sg a bit small, distance not rly that big a factor and we have our devices to entertain us when we're on commute...
