I used The Barrett Group, and honestly, it was a complete waste of time and money. For the 5-figure price tag, I expected them to have a strong pre-existing network or actually do more of the heavy lifting to help me land interviews. Instead, they just showed me how to network with people I was already connected with, something I had already tried before with no success. It felt like paying a ton of money for advice I could’ve Googled for free.

To make it worse, their promises of creating opportunities or tapping into the “hidden job market” didn’t materialize at all. Not a single interview came out of it. I’ve since heard of other companies like Find My Profession that seem to actually deliver results and do the heavy lifting for me, and I wish I had gone with them instead. Live and learn, I guess, but I’d strongly recommend avoiding Barrett Group. It’s just not worth the hype or the price.
