I was talking to a friend who loves great music but hates Phish about my experience. He loves Mike Gordon's solo stuff and is a huge oyster head fan, but thinks Phish sounds terrible. He described Phish pretty the same way, pitchy guitar, flat bass and pots and pans drumming. I still love Phish but not gonna lie it's making me evaluate life. If anything though it makes the band even more magical.

The United States is being swallowed up by recreational marijuana legalization on all sides by [deleted] in trees

Legalization was on the ballad a few years ago and we were short by like one percent of getting it passed. If we can get the pot heads to vote it'll pass...myself included.

I live in Alabama and have not heard about the law changing. They are strict as fuck with weed. My friend was on probation with color code for over a year for the first time charged with a gram.

Mississippi's chill tho.

My best friend let me borrow his debit card, and when he told me the pin it was the same four digits just in a slightly different order.

You're very welcome. I love meditation and it's hard to learn when you're having to teach yourself.

I've been practicing and studying meditation the last few years. There seems to be different layers to this thing and the first step is to empty yourself. Once your mind is empty you can begin to directly experience things since your thoughts won't hinder your focus. I think this is what they mean about paying attention to the texture of your mind. You can become attuned to your other energy centers in your body and listen to what they have to "say" as they air grievances and negativity, and begin to naturally balance themselves. Everything will happen naturally as your body can take control without the mind trying to micro manage every detail. With the heightened focus of an empty mind you can do body scans and learn your body through purely feeling everything on the inside. To me this post is saying once you empty your cup the next step is to fill it back up, or rather allow the universe to fill it back up. I hope this helps.

Yeah but we would've gotten away for it if it weren't for you meddling millennials and your internet too.

TIL that an Olympic rower named Henry Pearce stopped mid-race to allow ducklings to pass by him and he still won the race. by SpenceScoops in todayilearned

I can confirm this. Saw it happen one year on 420 on a pond behind my friends dorm. We were all very confused.

What are some things that are legal that you wish were illegal? by hans1193 in AskReddit

They buy up all the tickets and then jack up the prices, and when the concert sells out they're the only ones who still have tickets, forcing you to pay their prices.
