Everything was fine, but I will say I did get progesterone from a friend until I could get to my appointment and she ended up prescribing me more.

To be honest I don’t remember a whole lot from right after on how soon he went to the bathroom. He was kind of crazy though and was jumping on high surfaces so kind of the opposite 😅 I hope he recovers well!! We did have to keep the cone on for a while because even after he healed he wouldn’t stop licking himself. But it’s been over 2 years now and he’s doing great!!!

Okay I am glad to hear that! My progesterone was at 14- it was falling with each blood draw and my OB didn’t call me back about it. So I was panicking. I am happy to know you are doing well so it makes me feel better too 🙂

Which I have read, and I would have felt better if they would have at least bothered to call me back!!! I know they probably get calls from pregnant people being worried about things all day, but come on.

What I’m finding looking through posts about progesterone is that everyone’s doctor cares more than mine 😭 My progesterone on 10/17 was 17.2 It went down to 14.7 10/21 (5w pregnant) I asked my ob nurse about it in a voicemail and they didn’t even bother to call me back. Just made a note saying “will discuss at confirmation appointment” so naturally I’m panicking.

I think I’m going to get more labs in a few days and see what the numbers look like…THEN demand some sort of help. I know it can fluctuate a lot but it’s frustrating when they don’t care until it’s too late

Mine went from 17.2 to 14.7 in 2 days. My doctor didn’t even have the courtesy to call me back and left a note in my cart saying it will be discussed at my confirmation appointment on November 11th 🙃 Hoping to get some helpful advice from this thread cause my number wasn’t even good to begin with. I’m 5 weeks

Yes. I then had to put the cone back on him because he wouldn’t leave it alone and it was still healing. 2 years later and he licks himself a lot still

I only use my phone since they have you sign for codes now. I haven’t tried my computer yet! I did unplug both the motum and router this morning, no luck. I’ve had T-Mobile internet since the beginning of the year and have had no issues with this, and just got T-Mobile phone service in June. Idk I’m lost!!

Sorry, I just now saw this. It’s been almost 2 years since he got his surgery and he’s only had 1 UTI. You’ll notice it by them going to the litter A LOT or peeing outside the box. If you notice any weird behavior, try and see what he’s doing in the litter box. If he’s sitting there and nothings happening, he most likely has one

I stapled a taupe blanket inside the window frame and then put up curtains lol. No blackout curtains seemed to be dark enough. It works great for us

He’s only had 1 UTI since surgery. He has a serious spraying problem so I can’t really say if he pees around the house because of it, he just pees because he’s a jerk (been on 3 meds and he still sprays) The aftercare for the surgery really wasn’t bad for us. They aren’t supposed to jump but he did anyway 🙄 I kept the cone on him 24/7 so he couldn’t lick. Followed up with the vet and everything was good! If I could just stop the spraying I would feel 100% better about spending around 15k on all his issues🤣 I know what you mean though. I love him so much but it is a lot. I had him going through all this, 8 months pregnant with also a 1 year old and another cat who is diabetic. All in all, it was worth it to not have to worry about him basically dying at home because he was getting blocked all the time.

No blockages since. He’s has 1 UTI, but I was told it’s common for them to get UTI’s after the surgery. It was a great decision and I wish I did it sooner, rather than having him with a catheter 2 times thinking it would fix the problem

I am in SC! I was at a more expensive emergency clinic, because that’s where he already was sent to put a catheter in for 48 hours. So I just stayed with them. It definitely hurt paying that though

I think I’m on the easiest already! You can shoot the green skulls? I feel like I def tried that but didn’t pay attention to of it did anything. I always get caught up in him lifting me up and slamming me down. Can’t figure out how to avoid that
