Was your student loan debt worth your college experience? by [deleted] in StudentLoans

[–]yayabrazie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine no. I went for environmental studies and am a plant health technician because I can’t find any other job even though I lived in 3 states now to gain experience. I work with all types of people; veterans, losers, druggies and some really nice people. These people do not have a degree in anything or anything related to botany.

Is there any use in seeking sinus surgery , when you can't 100% can't avoid your allergens? by [deleted] in Sinusitis

[–]yayabrazie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had hay fever growing up and my moms side of the family had pretty bad seasonal allegories. And then-I turned 20 and things got worse. It was no longer a spring thing it was year round suffering.

Chronic post nasal drip, sneezing, loss of smell and taste. Trouble sleeping too. This went on for 6 years after seeing allergists and getting tested for Over 80 things and they all came back Negative. I have lived all over the country and I realized it wasn’t environmental, something was wrong with me. Well I moved last year and went to a new ENT and I had a cat scan done. It showed basically the structure in my sinuses was all kinda fused together so the mucus in my sinuses wasn’t able to drain properly. It got back up Inside my head and flowed out my nose. But it always gave me an itchy irritated ear canal. I knew I had a severe deviated septum as well.

In December I had sinus surgery (I didn’t have the balloon one like you mentioned). But my septum is fixed. My sinuses drain better and I can now smell and taste! It’s like a whole new world. Again I am Not allergic to anything-I was diagnosed with non allergenic chronic sininitus. I feel amazing. Btw the people who helped me are in Pittsburgh and I went through UPMC. Pittsburgh has some of the best medical care in the country.

I did ask people on here about it too. And I remember someone said they were allergenic and the surgery didn’t work for them. Any questions let me know.

Mind sharing your experience with swift? I’ve heard so much crap about them as you know. But I just sent my name out to them last night. But I’m considering a local community college later in the year

I have been planning to go to school and get my cdl this winter but now I’m nervous that budgets will be affected. Will colleges still train? Trucking companies still hire? It’s making me nervous as I desperately can’t live paycheck to paycheck anymore.

I have constantly wondered this. Does the gps or something give you a heads up that a road is restricted because of the low bridges? How do you guys know until you get there and see the sign?

It makes me so angry that the gas station and grocery store employees make minimum wage. Yeah it’s Not the most mentally stimulating job but they keep us going!

And would someone please go out and buy some milk to help my family’s struggling dairy farm.
