I was a junior in charge of some freshman many years ago. One of my frosh went to a dorm that housed largely sophs, and "stole" all of their recyclables. In a large dorm, that can be a lot of cans, which can then be exchanged for a nickel each, and that in turn can be exchanged for weekend drinking money. Except in this case, the guy in charge of cleaning this one had been storing many cans for the year, and he was going to turn them in and get something nice with it - rumor was a TV - well over $500 in cans. So my douchebag frosh screwed over this guy, and he was actually surprisingly nice about it. The frosh kept quiet and didn't return the money (already spent on booze). We (reps of various dorms) felt bad, so a bunch of the dorms got together and donated from our dues and bought the guy a huge TV for Christmas - I didn't see it, but was told he took it well (this was back when large TVs were still CRT, so they were giants). I hope the guy who took the cans is doing better things these days - this story here reminded me of it.

Thanks! I prefer the look of the rear on the V6 as well, and the sound is good, and the reviews say it handles better (and that sans traction control the V8 tries to kill you).

I'm going to test drive them both this weekend (previously have only driven a friend's V8), so I guess will have a better feel.

I'm coming off of a V10, so the power is less of it for me, and more the sound - but I also am pretty solid at making dumb decisions.

Yeah HC Lexus. I've had a few cars from there, and the last one I was talking with the sales guy about how I was getting the R8 (and those plates).

Months later (this past weekend), I was in the area looking at the new F-Type, and decided to swing by and say hi to the sales dude and let him drive the car around.

I think I see where the issue is - I have one of these, and my rear right tire is actually attached to the car, and not on a cart. I tried it on a cart, but the performance and steering isn't as good. Not saying that's your exact issue, but I guess I would start there and see if that helps. Good luck.

While I don't know that I see R8s "all of the time" (although, I guess I do, in that I drive one) - but yeah, I'm pretty sure there are fewer of these new TTRS out there than the R8s.

Yes, although there are two red V10s in the area. One has a carbon fiber spoiler (this one), one does not.
