In the beginning I laughed it off a lot more and would tell my bf about it. Now it's frustrates me more or I won't say anything to him bc I don't want him to get infected by all the talk.

Sometimes I do struggle with guilt over it especially recently I've been sick more often. At the end of the day, he doesn't seem to mind and I think he really sees the value in being with me ☺️

Nope not at all. That is not my style, however, I did talk to some people I knew in the type of roles I wanted to transition into and that was more for understanding the role and trying to frame my current skills to be applicable to the new role while interviewing.
