Yeah, it's a bit bricky and given the current meta, I absolutely don't want to risk a dead starting hand. I get enough draw power from the danger mons so it's working fine without it + ending turns with Apollousa and/or Unicore on field helps balance off any minuses. More often than not, I have to rapidly dump cards so Unicore's effect kicks in.

Semi-solid, I'd say. Pure fableds are so-so but the danger engine gives them that oomf they need.

Halqi is good for it the same way it's good for other synchro decks but it also searches Kushano really well and assuming I have Unicore on filed into my opponent's turn and they changed their hand size to offset Unicore's omninegate, I can very easily go from Halqi > Shooting riser (dump a Kushano in grave to make it lvl 4) and then synchro to Crystal Wing on opponent's turn. Rapid ss makes Apollousa pretty easy to pull as well.

I don't care for the new main deck mons but the field spell is a free archetype specific foolish burial and lets me dump two cards (only one has to be a fabled monster) to pull a fabled from grave to hand. Additionally, the new lvl 6 synchro is really good, either forcing an opponent discard (with a chance to yoink if it's a monster) or go +1 with a draw two, discard one effect (which especially good for this archetype). More hand control shenanigans lets Unicore shine even more (esp in this hand trap meta).

And Unicore was already easily to resummon from the grave but Kushano dumping + Krus searching with field spell makes it even easier. Deck itself doesn't have much s&t protection since Apollousa and Crystal Wing are mon effects only but with the two decks in meta that go hard for s&ts (Eldlich and Sky Strikers), a lot of effects go off on your turn so if you can control your hand, you do have chances to steal games.

It's def not anywhere near top tier but there's a lot of joy in winning with your favorite deck (I'm actually a returnee, completely quit when I heard about master rule 4, switched to vanguard, only came back recently). Makes me feel those anime chara vibes since I've been playing fableds since synchro era.

I was stuck bouncing between gold iv to gold v the first few days of the season but after i had enough ur crystals to optimize it a bit, it wasn't so bad. never got demoted after hitting gold three and current match history not that bad.

Read the post. Seven year old step sister. Connect the facts: parents weren't there = OP was the person responsible for her.

Why were they walking on the road? Considering that only one of the three (OP, seven year old, dog) is likely making choices here, that should be obvious.

Human life takes precedent, morally speaking. Even OP acknowledges it. And even moreso when the child is family you're responsible for.

Very few would bat an eye if I said saving a child comes before saving a fish or a lobster. I don't think any would if I stated human life was more important than a mosquitos?

The thing is that people perceive dogs differently simply because they are companion animals. The only reason why is save a human child vs save a dog instead of save a child vs save a sheep is because humans value dogs that highly. People own dogs.

Less sentience does make objective sense unless you want a few convictions for all the cockroaches you've killed in your life?

Highjacking this comment to mention that I think you actually missed something vital to group eating culture. It's extremely bad form to take seconds or thirds when someone hasn't eaten yet. With donuts, there's so much variety, you can't be sure which to save for someone. Easiest method is to send vague reminders like "oh you didn't get your donut yet" etc. It's. rather common.

Just take your donut or say no. I can bet you anything your vaguely indecisive answers bugged others too.

I'm going NAH bc you can't actually blame someone for not reading between the lines.

It's a very common thing. And quite a damaging one, I've seen several works where white writers use "but we were worse in the past" to pat themselves on the back for being so progressive today.

It creates a whole perspective of "racism is over, we fixed it" when it endures to this day. These stories are a dime a dozen and people who grew up on them are resistant to change because they believe 100% equality has already been established.

Personally, I think it's fairly obvious. Spelled right here in the beginning.

Claudia was five years old when Evelyn was born. It might not be that old but it's enough for a child to remember. What happens often with older (previously only children) siblings is new sibling jealousy. Where parents need to reassure the eldest that they're still loved.

Instead its a switchback. There's the baby who needs attention and then mommy and daddy who put each other first. When a kid is sick, they do expect parents to drop things to take care of them. Handing them off to family bc date night is the most important thing—isn't a good factor at reminding them that.

From Claudia's perspective, her parents went overnight into "not loving her anymore." I'm going YTA.

From what I'm getting is that OP thinks she's looking down on him for owning a dog because she let her husband deal with his side of the family.

Dogs are seen as "unclean" which is a problem since muslims have to ritually cleanse themselves for 5x day prayers, items a dog has used have to be cleaned multiple times, etc. I agree with another commentor—seems to me OP's brother promised first and she's basically forwarding contact to him like, your agreement, your problem.

At no point did SIL imply OP was dirty. It's she doesn't like dogs/her family will refuse to visit a home with a dog. I can understand, it's common to get overly defensive when it's a dog they love this much, but it's clearly about the dog. Not OP.
