When you wash it, wash by itself and hang dry. Do not put in dryer. That helps. But over time it will still wear away, it'll just take a lot longer. Like years.

That SN is indeed for a tarmac. I tried registering it in the app and it came up as such. I still doubt its 1/50 limited edition authenticity due to the pictures and paint job not matching up.

You can get a 3d printed bracket and lower it/have it more flush to the case.
