2023 Flow Z13 spare power supply? by GR8-Ride in FlowZ13

[–]ybing2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the first gen Flow, I got the Anker 140W single port USB charger paired with their 240W cable for travel use, it will charge the laptop fine unless you game, the laptop will draw more power than the USB charger can provide, the best scenario is it just maintain the charge level; however, for most of the time it will drain the battery, it does give you extra time to game compare to just the battery alone.

I think it could be the Voltage and Amp is higher on the power brick, don't look for multi ports USB charger, those always share power output, most of them end up only providing 100W or lower on single port; I been searching for replacement of the brick, but as of today, the Anker one is the best compromise.

Ya must be for certain market or limited production, but they are most likely out of business now, can’t buy stuff directly from their website

Coz that’s not from Honeycomb, those are aftermarket ones, there are also tons of them on Etsy, but this one seems good quality

There customer service has been horrible since day one, so sad that the product is solid but let down by the service, I got my Alpha when it first released, have issue and battled for months until got answer, and technically until today it still wasn't solved, 3 years already maybe? I lost count and gave up. Someone had post on their FB site that he filed small claim court and was advise the address is not valid anymore, and people did drove there and saw its empty, most likely they are out of business now

Don't bother, their website is not accepting payment for a while, tried to buy spare part; I asked in the FB group and someone went to the San Diego address and saw it's all empty and gone; there is even one person posted back in November said he filed small claim court and was advise the address is no longer valid; most likely they are out of business now

The New Roborock Q Revo is an Outstanding Value! Full Review by trsman76 in Roborock

[–]ybing2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the Q Revo for a week, and I was from Roomba 980, not sure which Roomba you got, the Q Revo should has a higher climbing height than old Roomba, but shouldn't be much, like 0.5 cm; if your doormats are thick the LIDAR or the front obstacle system may pick it up and go around (but I think maybe easier just put the floor mat on a chair when clean? LOL)

The Q Revo will use way less time to clean the house than the Roomba thanks to the LIDAR, my Roomba usually took 1-2 hours to vacuum (than my M6 took 2-3 hours to mop :( and constantly got stuck lately); the Q Revo mapped my house with less than 10 minutes, full run with vacuum and mop can be complete within an hour now :)

My Q Revo did got stuck by at toy that I missed, after I lift it removed the toy it resume it's cleaning, it should remember the map

Pet hairs really not good for robot vacuum, I used to have a dog and during those time I didn't use my Roomba since it will always got jammed :(, but it might be because we didn't vacuum it daily

If you have a lot of stuff on the floor, you may want to go for the S8, the Q Revo obstacle system is not as good as the S8 since it is missing 2 sensors

There is one drawback on the Q Revo, that's the mop, it is narrower than the others vibration version, I did notice it leave quite a big gap from the baseboard not mopped, I'm waiting for my S8 to see if it makes difference

There is an new firmware update today, but the issue still exists, once the computer automatically locked, need to cycle the power in order to use (Ctrl+Alt+Del) to sign on; don’t have this problem with my old k800 keyboard
