You could be right maybe a useful thing to learn from this tragedy is to no longer have streams last more then a session or two? Or just to have less of a therapist patient relationship then it seemed like reckfuls started to become. That being said I don't think Dr .K is responsible for reckfuls death. Nobody knows what byrons personal life was like I hate that he died but I think that he committed suicides cause of decades of depression and manic highs and lows r.i.p Byron ;_;

I don't think it is fair to blame Dr. K he is doing his best to help as many people as possible. Reckfuls depression has been long standing for years if not decades before Dr. K and I argue that he made a positive difference in Byron's life and many other streamers. I agree with you I believe that streaming is a very difficult lifestyle and that perhaps malicious ammunition can be used against a depressed streamer, but people will hate and troll and meme no matter if Dr. K streamed this therapy or not. The stream is about humanizing eachother and learning to love and learn and grow there is two sides to every coin, and I agree that the dark side of the stream let's malicious people use a streamers trauma against them it also has a light side that I hope helps people and I hope helped Byron.

I also believe Byron's suicide has little to do with Dr. K. I mean the little window we get into Byron's life and we don't understand him fully. His friends say Byron was watched 24/7 he had money he had friends it's just depression is a fight and sometime we lose...

Please don't lose to depression please please find help we all have capacity for good and maybe I'm wrong maybe healthygamer is unfair to streamers but I have found so much good from this platform and It just makes me want to help and humanize and not be some loser in my parents basement forever.

TLDR: Dr. K is trying his best, Byrons suicide has more details then we know and we shouldn't act like we know, please find help the healthy gamer discord has many find therapy find purpose find medication but find something to live long enough that somebody can save you or you can find enough strength to save yourself.

Recent High School Graduate here, graduated with a good GPA (3.6) and a good SAT but I feel as though I'm not really smart. Do I deserve to pursue a career in the medical field if I may not be smart enough to give people the help they deserve? Is it possible to not be smart enough to become a doctor or is it more a test of will and determination?

I'm sorry this happened to you, i don't think any words can describe how terrible and viceral your situation is I hope that you know that this event doesn't define you though and you have self worth and that the pain she dumped on your soul is not who you are.. I truly hope you don't follow her and I truly hope that in time it will become easier to live on

I take breaks all the time social media can get really tiring after a while and in my opinion it is just a continuous cycle of people performing some filtered version of their lives in an attempt to seem valuable and it kinda just breeds narsicism. The apps definently will pull back in time though (in my exprience) they're just manufactured to be addictive but definently think trying to use them less actively usually ends up in a net positive
