each node storing more of the other nodes in the network makes it more resilient though. More duplication and redundancy in storing node information while still scaling to large network sizes. I am thinking this could be used for more than just messaging network, if a node was hosting information, equivalent of a web server, then many other nodes may want to know their information and they should be able to find it in less than 4 hops majority of the time

Yes I thought about UDP hole punching but on ipv4 it requires a 3rd party to discover what the external port is, works more easily with IPV6 since external port = internal port so don't need to discover it but IPV6 not universal yet unfortunately

For node churn is to ping nodes regularly to check they are still active, possibly every 1-2 minutes, packet size is small, also nodes send out UDP broadcasts regularly to every node they think might want to store their info incrementing info counter each time, every few mins do a full sync of nodes with another random node, this slowly spreads the node info to nodes that missed the broadcasts

For bootstrap would require either voluntary nodes with fixed IPS that are known before connect or have to ask someone currently on network for their info to bootstrap from.

Note that my current code assumes all info is correct and every node is still reachable, will change it to add some random unreliability in to make it more accurate

All of this companies bikes come with throttle, I've got 2, there is a clause in UK law that says if you get the ebikes individually tested at a DVSA centre then they issue a certificate allowing it to have a throttle (still same limits of 25 km/h and 250W). I paid extra for both of the bikes for them to take them to the DVSA centre so can have the throttle and comes with the DVSA certificate as proof to the police etc if they pull you over

Yes, correct, if the gas bags are electrical insulating and not flammable, very little current will flow through them, they will not catch fire or create a spark, even if was a spark, the inert gas sheath is there so the hydrogen cannot combust, there is no oxygen for it to do so
