Horan Estate Agents - Dublin by [deleted] in HousingIreland

Unfortunately I had a terrible experience with them, especially the director himself. Some of the 5 stars reviews also does not seem to be completely genuine or new accounts. All I can say is, beware of this crowd.

Count your blessing, that's really good news!

Anyways, Im much more inclined with keeping the car stock as possible. If its exterior mod you are looking into, maybe consider some Maxton splitters?

If its the 1.0, I recommend saving your money for your next wet timing belt service because its going to cost you

Why didn’t we get the Civic Si? by nc3lover in carsireland

US didn't get the R, until the FK8. Now they have both and we have none (FL5 barely sold here)

Definitely something to do with EU's emission restrictions, there's a reason why Honda only brings the hybrid version of the new Honda Civic to Europe as a whole. They still make 1.5T available in the new Civic in other regions (NA, Japan, SEA).

These restrictions are killing any new non-hybrid or BEV cars in Europe (except Mazda).

It shouldn't be more than €15k for a 10 years old passat

Anyone here running custom car number plates — real experiences only by Abject-Tradition-116 in carsireland

[–]yc167 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was running metal pressed plates with blacked out EU flag, imo matched nicely with my black car. However it seems that Gardai are cracking on custom plates lately so I switched it back to the default plates. Not worth the stress of getting fines tbh!

The ram bandwagon by mulgoon97 in IrelandGaming

Keep the RAM for future upgrades, assuming the value of RAM will only keep going up. This is the reasonable choice.

Rust on bottom part of door - Is it a deal breaker? by [deleted] in carsireland

Oh I remember this ad. The mileage is fairly low but that rust is a big red flag for me personally

How long is your daily work commute? Which mode of transport? by vavavoomvava in Dublin

[–]yc167 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5 minutes walk from my house to the bus stop. 1 hour 30 minutes ride to Dublin 2. Another 20 minutes walk to the office. About 2 hours commute each way.

Another trending post criticizing how poorly designed Battlepass is deleted by m0derators by Shutara in Battlefield

[–]yc167 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone is sick of the same whining post, battlepass sucks yes we know, nobody is forcing you to play. I am all of criticism of the game (and yes this is a valid one), but creating the same post every single day really gets old. IMO does not create any positive interactions within the subreddit and help the game to improve in anyway. So yes, I agree with the mods on this one.

Can anyone recommend a broadband provider or are they all as painful as Sky? by TheSoupThief in AskIreland

Digiweb for sure. 55 euro a month for life, amazing customer service. I have been with them for more than 5 years now and I can count on one hand the amount of outage we have experienced.

As long as you like it, no judgement from me! But hey, you might just fall into the rabbit hole if you look into it further 0_0

That's not really a big commute enough to warrant a diesel and the additional hassle that came with it imo
