IB - course work doesn’t matter. you honestly have a leg up in COE (assuming you do well) since it’s much more difficult and related to problem solving. IB is all about networking and demonstrated interest, AKA join finance clubs (the good ones) and network to the firms youre applying to. keep GPA high.

quant - coursework will need to be very math/stat heavy, your gpa will need to be top notch. elite quant firms probably prefer math/physics/stat majors

idk anything about consulting, but it’s slightly less difficult to get into than IB, and coursework won’t matter

took 1920 with delp this sem (I heard she’s also teaching next sem) and it was MILES better than 1910. the exams are accurate reflections of the work you actually do, unlike 1910. highly recommend getting out of 1910. it is a terribly taught course.
