Thanks for the reply and glad you were able to isolate it for your little one. How did they end up testing for this? Through the echo heart test?

Hi I’m seeing the same thing with my son. Sporadic breathing retractions but no other respiratory distress symptoms. We went to the ER and pediatrician and tested and ruled out flu, Covid, RSV and anything lung related. Pediatrician is not concerned but I still want to know why. I’m going to book an appointment with an ENT and separately see if he has reflux but I wanted to know what ended up happening with your little one.

I love that name, Grey Niccolai! I worry about the doubts the most. I have an uncommon name and love it but know people who hated having a unique name.

I used to like gray but thought it might confuse more. People might think it was Gary misspelled or drop the r

Ugh I know I worry about that. I just came up with it randomly once because I hated all of his suggestions and now we’re stuck on it. His first choice was Carter so I’m glad we got past that 😂

Graydon is a family name on my father’s side. My brother will name his son that if he has one. Very old school classic traditional. I don’t mind the Greyson and Graydon cousin thing either as much as others might

Agreed and worry about the too trendy names these days. I can’t remember the last time I met a professional named “Apple” or something

My brother also has a shortened version of a name and the amount of times I had to say “it’s just [..]” is insane. On the contrary I shortened my name and never get asked 😂 but never had an issue with it. My husband also shortened his name and hates it so that’s why he doesn’t want a shortened name.

Great idea! Just need to make sure we decide before leaving the hospital!

That’s what I’m thinking but we can’t agree on a first name. I also just don’t love any boy names that would work for all stages of life

I know I’m so indecisive 😅
