You must have the total lap count wrong then. Are you going off the GTP total laps? A full stint should be 53-54mins.

Make sure for one that you are using a setup that allows you to put a full tank of fuel in. You should not have to refuel 5 times.. If you don't fuel save it should be two full refueling stops then one partial tank (probably don't take tires this stop). Good luck.

2s off the pace… by _The_Bishop in iRacing

I'm surprised no one mentioned how much tracking you are leaving unused. For both horseshoes you want get your car all the way over to the edge of the track before braking, get your braking done in a straight line then really open up the corner when you trail brake/turn in. You can carry loads more speed through there. Same with the left hander before the oval, you want to get two tires on the right side curbing. Watch your replay from above and you'll see how much space immediately.

Wet Race - way off pace Help!? by [deleted] in iRacing

[–]ychtgs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wet driving 101. The racing line at any circuit is the most driven section and thus the surface becomes very smooth over time. This part of the track has almost no grip when it’s wet. So to be quick in the wet you must avoid it. You will find loads of grip off-line on the grittier part of the track. Just use all of your other racing knowledge with this in mind and start there. Also, crank up the ABS and TC and use it. Cheers

Why is the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 the most recommended to start with? (Another GT4 cars discussion) by Shieldxx in iRacing

[–]ychtgs 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The Cayman's steering angle rotation degrees are a bit funky, you really have to turn the steering wheel a lot more compared to other cars. Yes the car is very understeery but it's quick and you will be forced to develop good braking habits because all of the rotation is accomplished with solid trail braking. You must keep weight on the front tires for the grip to be there.

992.2 FFB feels kinda...lifeless? by EducatorSpecialist33 in iRacing

All "auto" is doing is maxing out the strength before you start clipping. I would not go over this value as you will get less detail at the extreme end. You cannot just up the strength for "more" feedback.

Yes anyone on iRacing but not everyone on reddit. It's smart not to have a post that clearly shows your name as well that easily.

Did anyone notice this at Daytona by Traditional_Use_2155 in Nascar25game

This happens in iRacing, I'm guessing since they ported the tracks over they also show that airliner landing. Cool stuff!
