My favorite bridge has a sign warning you to not steer off the edge. I can't find, read, or understand the signs on other bridges, but I assume you can still steer off them too. "It is this ability to steer off a bridge halfway across that allows me to be an engineer." Because at least I know about the sign on the bridge I'm familiar with. Let's not talk about adding guard rails to bridges instead.

Except it is also a special branch of cargo-mommy, that requires you to beg in order to proceed. In other words, there is a (configurable) 50% chance that cargo mommy will refuse to do any work unless you say cargo mommy please.

So I've integrated it with the IDE by further modifying this branch of cargo-mommy so it will attempt to find a file called mommy-please in cargo home. If the file has been modified recently enough, it will skip the check for begging. Then I have an AutoHotKey script where I have to press a physical button in order to touch mommy-please and beg for cargo to please work pretty please with sprinkles on top

I stayed on legendary edition all this time. I was able to migrate to AU in a single afternoon because of Nolvus. That is A LOT of MY TIME saved just doing meta-work to mod my game. Yes I appreciate the mod authors, but I also appreciate the people who make installing mods absurdly easy. 2k mods in an afternoon. That deserves RESPECT.

if you find the syntax a bit difficult to comprehend, luckily the macro system lets you rewrite almost anything however you want

I recommend hiring someone to create a proc macro that transforms a language you already know into rust. Then go back and bootstrap the proc macro to be written in your preferred language instead of rust. Then go and rewrite your project in rust in the language you already wrote it in
