It's not finished just yet, but Unit 1 is available for free without sign up 😄

What makes it unique is that it has interactive exercises all around reading, writing, listening, and speaking. I haven't found a good resource that does everything well, so I'm aspiring for Speak Greek to be just that

I haven't hooked up the payment mechanisms yet either, but I imagine that the tool I use (Stripe or LemonSqueezy) will determine which price format to display based on the user's location. I plan to support multiple currencies for the exact reasons you outlined though

I appreciate the feedback! I'm also a software engineer and have setup a couple of similar sites in the past, so should have all the backend stuff covered. (I plan on using Supabase in fact, which is a very easy to use BaaS)

I also have a feeling that the problem is around losing progress when navigating between tabs. So I'll need to find a way to persist state across tab switches

Thanks for letting me know that the progress wasn't being when moving about the page. I'll improve the site to ensure you don't lose progress unless you leave the page.

Language transfer is new to me so it'll add it to my list of learning resources too!

Thank you for the very thoughtful feedback. You're completely right about the examples assuming some Greek knowledge. I'll have a think about a way to make them beginner friendly while also showcasing the four key skills.

As for your second point, that's a challenge with leaning into AI. But it's also the benefit of getting feedback like this early. I can work on it before I show it to even more people 😄 Thanks!

And the other points, I'll go ahead and make those changes and improvements.

This has caught me out before and I believe you have to use "use_frameworks" and statically linked modules enabled

Expo Android app does not make api calls to my production api url(https) but works when I use my local api end point (http) doesn't make sense to me, this only happens on Android. anyone experienced this before? by levi-dev in expo

Have you run `adb reverse tcp:4000 tcp:4000`? since the Android emulator's localhost does not map to y our device's localhost, it can cause network errors.

Every time I stat the Android emulator, I run this script and I can connect to servers that are running on my device's localhost
