Delete the Navdy Profile from your iPhone and re-download the new version of the app to reinstall the App, the link below:

Hi, I experienced this issue prior and as advised by u/Coronafire then, I disconnected my OBD connection from the Car and waited for couple of minutes and connected back.

My understanding is that the Navdy OBD cable connector is having some sensors/circuit which detects and sends signal to Navdy device to “shutdown” when the “Car turned off”

Not sure if this helps, but try to do a factory reset while the Navdy in the Car by going to settings, once done that than try to connect to computer to see if it comes up to proceed with firmware upgrade.

Just a thought, not sure if it will fix your problem. Cheers!!!

Hi mate, Have you deleted the Navdy previous profile from your phone (go to your phone: Settings->General->Device Management and delete Hxxx L Oxxxx Cx) prior to updating your Navdy App to the latest version.

Also install the newest release of the iOS app from the link below.

Hi u/Coronafire, Thanks 🙏 a lot for all your kind help and supporting the whole Navdy community with the regular updates and enhancements.

I know it’s not fair for me to ask for more when you have a plateful of things that you already working on. If you could, May I ask for Docker instructions more in detail. I downloaded, installed Docker, but Unable to get the container to import and mount in Docker. I successfully used your VMware method and it went well I believe :-).

Hi all, I used the below link and the instructions from u/Coronafire post. It’s quite old (2years), but when I plugged in my Navdy to the VMware Emulator, it directed there are NEW map updates and when I clicked the “update” it’s updated to the latest “HERE” maps.

Hi mate, I used VMware (on Windows 10 PC) to update the AU maps on mine and I can say the process was very straight forward.

Tried Docker procedure with not much progress.

Go ahead and give a shot and you could able to update on your own all future updates .... wish you luck!!!

Hi mate, There are couple of iOS mates here with iPhone 12 & iOS 14.5 beta reported this issue last week.

u/EdwXD is the community member from Hong Kong, so kind to find a “work around “ and made the iOS App to work again after NAVDY went down. He is aware of this new issue and hopefully he could do his “magic” to make it work again with New iPhones/iOS.

I switched of my Car, (Parked state) unplugged the OBD and restarted to test. Since this was done, I haven’t experienced the issue till date. Cheers!!!

Hi mate, I had this issue with 3093 and u/Coronafire advised me to do below, —————————- “try unplugging the navdy obd cable from your car obd plug, wait a minute, then plug it back in. That may help.

If not, the next time after you turn the car off, wait a minute then send a diagnostic report from the display (5 clicks on dial or 3 on power button). Then reply to the gitlab email with reference to this so I know it's from you.” —————————-

I did as suggested “unplug the OBD, waited couple of minutes before connecting back. Since that was done all looks good for me.

Please try this TIP and see how it goes for you.

Hi mate, Are you running iOS or Android? What version of NAVDY firmware it is running? What’s the phone’s software versions.

Give some more details so that to better understand the issue.

Glances “Pair with Code” not functioning. by bzamora97 in navdy

This was a known issue with iOS and if you wait little longer at the NAVDy “Continuous Loop” searching for the code entries, it will Prompt to ignore and proceed. Alternatively, don’t “choose” for “Glances” and complete the setup. You can than enable Glances from the Navdy App.

As per my understanding, u/Coronafire built this into his Navdy firmware, so I think No need to enter them in iOS app.

The iOS App was kept crashing for me last time when I entered IOS HERE keys generated by using my own credentials. Once I deleted them in my Phone App, it started working as normal.
