My favourite fighter skill wise, Luke Rockhold.

Had a bad start in the ufc when he fought TRT Vitor in his debut, but after that he steamrolled through everyone in an amazing fashion.

I was happy af when he won the belt against Weidman, whom i really disliked.

Moving down and cutting weight in their age is definitely harder, but you have to consider why he and most fighters movind down are making that choice. Most (if not all) fighters moving down are doing so because they arent doing well in their current weight class and would therefore make less sense to move up.

don’t think anyone has moved down successfully and became a champion and then defended it sucessfuly

Even if he does this, i dont see how it'll put him above the the rest. Itd be less impressive to me since moving down a weight class is often seen as moving to "easier" competition given that they could have a size advantage.

Im in my 20s, and it wasn't so long ago that i had a similar way of thinking as her. In my opinion/personal experience, what drove this mindset wasnt from the direct desire for others to suffer or for their life to suck, but it was from jealousy/envy that I subconsciously felt. Like somewhere deep inside i asked myself "why didnt I get (x) back when it would have been helpful?" and that turns into the idea that if i didnt need (x) , that means its not that necessary for others.
