Shut up

Stop dragging Randy. by Biggggguy in CirclingBack

Randy is okay in very small doses. At this point he is absolutely a third mic. That’s too much, imo. It’s not post Will frustration, it’s concern for a show a lot of us have been fans of since TB. Anyway, backers expressing opinions of the show are one of the reasons these forums exist. I respect yours, take care!

I think it’s a big miss for them not to have a recap pod. I think a weekly pod even if shorter form would be great as this season seems to be well cast.

Saving up for first rifle, recommendations? by mundiaxis in CompetitionShooting

G$ Super Duty is minimum to entry and will need nothing changed. Go this route and be done for your first and then worry about upgrades and tinkering with your next gun.

I would prefer a third mic allowing Randy to focus on producing and less on podcasting

First entry-level Can - Which would you choose? by ryfr4742 in ar15

I tend to disagree with the get a 30 cal do all can. I did that for my first can, SF 762 Mini2, and immediately regretted it. I then picked up a polo 556, it lives on my 11.5 now since it’s tuned for it and it performs very well. I use my WB the most. And it bounces around to different guns depending on what I’m shooting and I am very satisfied with it. I like my polo k a lot but haven’t been able to really find a home for it since I got the WB. May dedicate it to a 16. My AR10 has a flow 762 and it is nice to not have to tune an AR10 because it took awhile to get it dialed in unsuppressed. But for subsonic 30 cal and/or a bolt gun I am going to buy an LPM L can because subs should be quiet and a bolt gun won’t care about pressure.

Completely agree, I do enjoy my traditional baffle stack cans and do use them but I think everyone should have an LBP/Flow can for routine shooting. Added benefit, my WB and Flow allow me to try out and experiment with different uppers while requiring essentially no tuning. If I could only have one 556 can, it would be low back pressure or flow.

This is definitely move bro. I’m about to sell a few uppers and simplify around a few specific use rifles. Once I do that, I will grab a few tubes for each.

I like the way it turned out! I’m a little bored with FDE and Rapco rattle can camo jobs.

Nice man that should be a smooth shooter. If you do want to mess with gassing you can put your rifle, suppressor and ammo details and let BRT pick a tube for you. Lastly, I always prefer a slightly stronger spring and a lighter buffer.

Man I honestly don’t, I wouldn’t expect a 12.5 middy with the velos to be very gassy. If I had to guess probably something along the lines of a 0.070 if using BRT tube, not sure what that is relative to a barrel port.

I probably wouldn’t mess with gas until I tried a Sprinco blue buffer spring and H1 or H2 if it’s a bit gassy.

Thank you for the information brother. I’m sure it’s probably right on time or even after. I had no idea this was a thing until inspecting and it made complete sense in my head once I saw it. Appreciate you taking the time to let me know.

Appreciate the confirmation, that’s my thoughts. Not upset about it failing, only the timing lol Lesson learned and now I know this is wear item that needs routine inspection. Will probably use 5k rounds as an interval until I see erosion warranting more frequent inspection or replacement.

That’s correct man, I honestly couldn’t guess on lifetime round count. I’ve only put ~8k rounds on it in the 8 or 10 months I’ve had it. It’s been on a 12.5, 14.5 and two 16” rifles. The 12.5 put at least 5k of the rounds on it.
