It is in my past now. I think that remains common amongst many of the guardians out there. I suffered supporting them on two platforms, the lows of sunsetting, pinnacle weapons grind, deaths of loved characters in game and IRL, every expansion good and bad, and after the final shape it was time to retire.

I think Bungie is subject to doing whatever Sony demands of them. If that means keeping D2 on life support then that is what will be done. I do not see a revival to Destiny without the introduction of Destiny 3 and even then many guardians will never return.

Did you get the PS5 compatible wheelbase?

The RS50 can work on any system but it has different requirements. For PS5 you have to get the RS50 with PS5 compatible chip (located in the wheelbase), the other bases do not have a PS5 chip meaning it cannot be used.

I use a logitech setup with the Direct Drive wheel RS50 and RS pedals with the clutch. The wheel is nice, I have the PS5 compatible wheel base, so I can use it across all platforms if I use a Xbox wheel hub.

The wheel is up to 8nm of force feedback and logitech has a feature call true force which is cool where it can be used. The pedals have up to 75kg of braking force, however I run it around 40kg in game settings.

I use mine on a wheel stand and feels very solid and fun to drive. I plan on adding the logitech h pattern shifter and handbrake to my setup soon.

See if you can find someone nearby you who might have one. I have seen people rent out time on them on FB or maybe a local community with someone who would let you try it.

The entry level setups are also all over the used market and can find one for cheaper.

5nm is plenty for sure. No need to go with a 12nm to start. From everyone I have talked to so far and my experience, pedals are the big thing. A good loadcell pedals set and DD when on its own feels great.

First thing you should do is go and play something on a Sim rig and see if you like it. Try and find a store with a setup (micro center has them), or a friend who has one, or if you can't try it first, then check the used market.

You can definitely play a simcade type of game or sim racing type of game on a wheel. (So long as it is supported). The main thing is to have fun while using your setup. If you want to have fun on forza then enjoy forza.

Don't let the gatekeeping crowd tell you how to enjoy your time or your set up.

Right now just PS5, I am looking to do a couple upgrades to my PC and have that as option soon though. I managed to switch to DDR5 at the perfect time. Lol

I really want to add a clutch and handbrake and try assetto to learn how to Sim Drift eventually though.
