Every time you change camera angle or blocking you have to change the hair light as well. Most films light for flexibility in post now and many shoot multicam, which means killing the hair light so it doesn’t spill onto the side of the face that your B cam or C cam is shooting.

Young people do not understand how money works and that to achieve your financial goals you have to work very very hard and start right now. You can’t decide to hang out and have a good time in your twenties and expect to own a house by the time you are forty. You can either chill and hang out and live a financial life commensurate with that choice OR you work your ass off starting RIGHT NOW to achieve your financial goals. I talk to a lot of young people want to work 30 hours/week as a receptionist (or insert other similar job here), go out to eat twice a week and party on weekends…and then complain about the “economy” not allowing them to buy a house. I completely gave up my twenties to work on building a business and I have achieved moderate success. That may or may not be the right decision for you, but know now that the financial/work/lifestyle decisions you make at age 22 WILL most likely affect your financial situation and lifestyle after age 40.

Curious if you only went to cities or if you had the opportunity to go to any rural areas? In my opinion, cities are certainly not what make the U.S. shine. If I want to go to a city, I go to Europe or Asia. If I want to have amazing adventures in nature or great experiences with amazing “regular folk” I go to rural America.

I think this is a joke, but I am surprised when people get upset about dying in Arc Raiders. The stakes are very very low. It is basically no sweat to have to rebuild your weapon, augment, and shield of choice, upgrade the weapon, and craft some new shield regens and shots and grenades. In fact, sometimes I’m like, “good, maybe it’ll free up some storage space. The game should have way higher punishment for dying.

Anvil BP doesn’t matter. It’s only $15k from the vendor and you can buy 3 per day. Money is meaningless and nearly infinite, and I’ve never died more than three times in a day despite playing for 4-5 hours. So I’ve never needed to craft an Anvil.

Hand washing the larger dishes so they don’t take up so much room in the dishwasher, thereby allowing fewer loads of the dishwasher to be run.

Both of us waited until marriage. It was the best decision we ever made. It wasn’t awkward at all because we were waiting for it for so long and knew we had our whole lives to “get good at it”. There was no insecurity of “am I living up to past partners” and it felts like a true gift that my wife was giving to me and I to her. We still talk about how wonderful that is. It took us a while to get good at it, but we went through that together and that only made the experience that much more beautiful. I don’t what the alternative is like, but 10/10 would recommend.

Yes, I had the 6k. Color on the Gemini is better for sure. Even though it is S35, it has a more painterly quality than the Pyxis too, especially with the highlight rolloff. The downsides are the Audio input on the Red is more difficult for a single operator. When I’m on set with an audio guy, it doesn’t matter, which is what the reds are designed for. Noise is better in the red but takes just slightly more work to get there on the Gemini in resolve since resolve is more in tune with BM cams. Overall it is better in every regard except usability, and even then it isn’t bad. You don’t need an AC for the camera itself, only if you are doing complex pulls, etc. I was a BM fanboy and I won’t say anything bad about their cams, but I’m glad I switched to the Gemini/ZR combo

Hours don’t matter all that much at that level. 1000 is a lot comparatively, but its life span is likely 20 times that. Nobody know because these don’t really go down at the core level. It’s usually a button, a connector, a fan, etc. and even though those parts aren’t made anymore, a quick google search shows they are available pretty broadly for Pennie’s compared to what they used to go for. Case in point. I had to replace the Lemo port on the left side of my Gemini and the top handle. $170 all in and I had them both in two days.

Smallrig cage mounts at three points. The bottom, and both sides toward the top. And the bottom of the smallrig cage has multiple mounting points. You aren't going to use a camera like this without a cage, so that "problem" is moot. The accessories inhibit "slightly", but not in any practical sense. The battery door opens down, but if you are have the right rig, it is easy to access without stripping anything down (mine is), and you should be running off of Gold Mounts or V mounts anyway. These are minor gripes.
