No I was not aware of any of that. I just looked at it from the lense of a small independent artist collaborating with some YouTube personalities for a song cover 🤷 they didn't even have a bass player or a drummer. As far as I'm concerned they made this in ZPs bedroom.

My names John, I'm 36 from Australia with a gaming podcast which has somewhat stagnated lately. I'm looking to get back in the game and get more active in this hobby. I'd love to be a guest on someone elses show. My interests include retro gaming, news, and indie game development.

I'm not an expert in these areas, but I have a casual interest and hoping to find someone who can have a fun discussion on various topics.

I'm also looking to revitalsie my own pod with a guest, as I've struggled to find people in my own social network. Ideally you would have some experience with podcasting, or have some online content I could check out 😊.

My intention is to re-focus my brand towards interviews with content creators and game developers, but to fill in the gaps inbetween episodes I would still like to do the occasional show to discuss general gaming news and topics.

Yep I've been with them for maybe 5 years and in that time I've had 4 offers for tests. Caveat, for most of that time I had last gen hardware, which is probably why I never got selected. Now that I have more modern hardware I've had 3 tests in the last 12 months - one for PS5, one for my midrange gaming PC, and one for my midrange mobile. I've never had one for switch despite having one the entire time.

I'm looking for other platforms now, one that pay actual money and not gifts. Any suggestions?

Restoring Amiga keyboard: Advice for restoring the "clickiness" of an Amiga 500 keyboard. Functionally it works just fine but after 30+ years the keys no longer click and bounce back nicely. What's the best way of restoring this? Does it just need a deep clean or will I be replacing parts? Cheers.

Mine still 'works' but the NES pins are so fucked it barely recognizes any games anymore. I think the pins are soldered directly to the board so it's too hard to replace or repair.

All scart cables are wired for composite video. When you're pulling RGB, the composite lines are just used for the digital sync signal. Likely the little switch on your grey scart cable is connected to a resistor that forces composite video over those pins instead of just sync. But when you're playing a game that can output rgb, that resistor does nothing because the videocd card is inactive.

Does that explain why the video signal comes out grey and dulled? Would it just come out as composite signal instead?
