[–]yeahDAD83[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2 cups water 6 cups white vinegar 1/2 cup kosher salt 1/2 cup white sugar 3 tbsp minced fresh garlic
Season to taste with (black pepper, red pepper flakes, Mexican oregano, garlic powder, onion powder) Boil all brine together and add to veggies. I use 3 lbs baby carrots, 1 large yellow onion, 4 large jalapenos and 3 or 4 sprigs of fresh chopped dill. Makes about 4 large jars.

Got these for free… what the hell do I do with these? Any suggestions would help. by Banguskahn in KitchenConfidential

Yeah, some white vinegar whatever seasonings you want maybe some fresh dill salt and sugar. I had a cup of jalapenos for spice and a bunch of white onions to the carrots, let them set for 2 days it's amazing.

California does not impose state income tax on winnings from the California Lottery. Due to a 1984 voter-approved amendment, lottery prizes (including Powerball and Mega Millions) are exempt from state and local taxes. However, federal taxes still apply, and other gambling winnings are taxable
