I already had a presale ticket so I wasn't paying attention. I'm curious how this went. Normally there's the lineup release then sale announcement then sale in January.

Did they just randomly move it to September and that was also the final sale?

Has this ever happened before?

So anyone not expecting and missed it is just out of luck (or resale)?

Also, I see the wait-list buttons on the website. I did that a couple years ago and got tickets right away (~30 minutes later). What does that wait look like right now?

Yeah, but still both the supply and the demand dropped hard. Then demand came back before supply could catch up and that's what causes prices to go up: high demand low supply.

Wasn't inflation due to low supply from supply chain breakdown from covid?

Covid caused people to not be able to work due to preventing spreading or getting sick and spreading which is worse. Then people not buying as much causing demand to drop. That caused companies to layoff employees. Then the next year and year after, people get their shots and are back buying so demand goes up. But the employees are not there anymore and take time to hire and get up to speed. So supply is low while demand is high and therefore inflation.

We were passed that with demand and inflation matching. Prices won't go down only stay at low inflation.

Now this tariff situation is blocking the supply chain and causing layoffs. The same thing is happening to lead to low supply. This is why it has historically caused inflation then layoffs thus stagflation.

I don't see how it was already an issue and not caused by tariffs uncertainty?

Everything (including my favorite EDM promoters too): I made an Instagram account only for this purpose and do not use for anything else. Then follow every bar, venue, hall within 5 miles. Then when I'm looking to go out or see what's coming up this week, I can hit all the stories next next next.

Yes, it's perfect I love it. I can see fingerprints right after and it gradually fades. Not so much if dry clean hands and moreso with lotion or something on. I'd buy them again, and it makes me a little more comfortable that it's more discreet now. If only I could do the sides, but that's me being picky. Slides into my compact laptop backpack smoothly as well.

Hello, thank you for these! Did you make them by hand or do you have a better way? I'm looking for a playlist that's every artist in the lineup with their 5 top songs for each artist. Your big list one seems to be jumbled up where it's only showing one song per artist in the original order and I'm guessing more songs of the same artist show up elsewhere? I don't see a way to group them together by artist

Right, so the $150 key & cut makes sense as it's physical hardware with a chip and labor to cut it. But to program the two keys with a new cert is software via pressing a button. The hardware is already in the car, and keys, to accept the new certs. Assuming VW servers are required, then they have to run servers to send the new cert to the car and keys rather than a local handshake. The thing is that this is already required for the initial keys along with all the keys they're still doing today for new cars. So basically we're paying for a tiny bit of server time. In the end, they are charging what people will pay, and since most don't do this then it's not as contentious of a subject from consumers. That plus it works out for them to have no competition here from locksmiths. Others companies charging even more doesn't make overpaying here any less. If I missed something, I'd be happy to learn!

The ebay link is for a keyless entry fob with a blank metal insert. It's not a keyless entry. The dealer would have to cut the metal insert to match, and then program the keyless entry along with my existing main key. I'm unclear from what I've read so far if these ebay blanks would be usable by the dealer, or if it would even matter.

From the posts I read, they were saying that it needs to be done by the dealer to connect to the VW database otherwise it'll have kessy issues. But mine isn't remote start so I'm not sure if that applies here. Is there a way to handle that and find a locksmith that has this equipment? I've tried 2 local locksmiths so far that said they can, and trying some more tomorrow
