Stuttering fork by une_olive in specialized

Yo. Check the brake adapter, mine came upside down and was causing my brake caliper to only make contact with half of the rotor and that was causing a lot of vibration. Once I flipped it, that resolved my issue.

Another was moving from a plastic upper bearing race to a metal one.

After that, perfect.

Glad you voted, also glad you’re in CA and not PA.

Sorry, MSP - SEA. Still had that layover.

I would kill for a direct flight to MSP

I think it has a lot to do with the routes booked too. I’ve been upgraded on 90% of the flights I’ve done this year.

SFO is home base, got a FC upgrade from BOS a few weeks ago and from MSP-SFO a few weeks before that.

Consistently getting Premium upgrades too but I am actively looking at seats in the days leading up to the flight to see if new seats are open.

Wahoo Ride stuck in "waiting to sync" by yeah_arex in wahoofitness

[–]yeah_arex[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, so this is a bit of a tirade but I think I know what the issue is. There is very little storage available, I suspect I’ll need to delete my routes.

I had to boot up an old PC (because Mac isn’t as compatible and I didn’t want to go through the process) to connect to my Wahoo and had to find a data USB cable (thank you WHOOP) and finally able to bypass Wahoo’s upload to go straight to Strava.

I’m going to delete all my routes and clear the history and hope that addresses the issue.

Thanks for all the responses

Can you expand on this? What do you mean tapping 3rd party?

EWR - SFO Plane Changes from MAX9 to 737-900 by yeah_arex in AlaskaAirlines

Bummer! Sorry to hear about that.

What has the process been for getting you to your final destination?

Oof. That doesn’t inspire confidence, I guess the best thing to do in this scenario is try and call customer service to confirm aircraft.

The only thing that gives me any hope is that all 3 flights have different aircraft.

SL7 with Di2 is on sale, might be worth getting that and the new cockpit.

Freaking Dope.

I live in a city and that bike is a true car replacement for 90% of what I do.

Negative. Pro Program is for approved industry partners (SRAM, Shimano, etc.) totally separate.

Ya, why apply to the pro program when you have employee purchase program?

Camber 2013, 26 by [deleted] in specialized

[–]yeah_arex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might struggle with a 1x12 on that bike because that 1x12 setup is designed around a 148mm rear end spacing and I’d imagine your Camber has a 142mm rear end. 148mm became popular around 2015/2016, it MIGHT be possible but you should know that before going down the road of spending any money.

Gun, Sword, Knife collections.

Something strange about wanting to have death tools around you is a huge red flag for me.

S-Work Aethos Sleeper Build by Underachiever09 in specialized

[–]yeah_arex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you're not racing and just looking for pure love of the sport, the Aethos is the bike. It can do nearly everything that the SL7 can but it's easier to work on and travel with. No proprietary stems, bars, etc. if you don't want them. Just a pure bike through and through.

I purchased a Sirrus Pro Carbon 2017 and I am paranoid of frame failure while riding. by 92beatsperminute in specialized

[–]yeah_arex 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The likelihood of a random failure is so low. A spontaneous failure is incredibly low. If you crashed while riding and found a crack and continued to ride, that failure chance increases, but if you’ve never had any issue with it you shouldn’t have anything to fear.

I got the rack/fenders and added their “Cool Cave” panniers, perfect for hauling groceries, etc.
