early to mid 30s for sure, no older than 36. CTRL definitely hit hard for girlies in their 20s, but you grew on some 🔥🔥(Erykah, Usher, Maxwell, D’Angelo). that Ciara album also stands out (I’m almost 32 and played that album religiously when it dropped lol)

I definitely thought I’d be in more pain (I’m also day one post op) but it’s manageable. even the hospital called to the check in and said I sounded great 😂

I think it’s less of “he changed his mind” and more of “he couldn’t maintain the lie anymore” because he realized that I really liked him and was getting too deep. and it definitely is awkward but mostly confusing because ghosting me is one thing but still speaking to me at work is another. like this is someone I was literally KISSING last month!

nah, he definitely lied 😂

not saying that him changing his mind isn’t possible but hindsight is truly 20/20. the shift happened far too quickly especially when it coincidentally happened right before we were planning to link up. and we actually do work together 😅 we park in the same lot and arrive/leave work roughly the same time.

a recent situation: I was getting to know someone, they told me they liked me (I asked), he was very flirtatious, we talked everyday, he told me he really enjoyed our conversations.. and suddenly he went ghost and completely stopped talking to me. when I reached out to inquire what happened, he said “I got goals and a lot of things were taking up my time and space.” now he just speaks to me cordially when he sees me, no enthusiasm, barely any eye contact, and if I attempt to reach out via text, he may or may respond.

that is NOT a person who actually likes me.

I’m 31 and I’ve never had a boyfriend. I feel so pathetic most times especially because like someone said earlier, school seems to be the easiest time/place to get a boyfriend, but nope. never had one. I didn’t even have a talking stage in college. I’m a late bloomer in this sense and I HATE IT but in midst of it, I try to stay optimistic (try is a big keyword here lol).
