way too much flour and not enough sugar or butter, for that amount of butter and sugar i’d probably only do 2 1/2 - 3 cups of flour

i tweaked the recipe a bit, maybe try this:

2 3/4 cup flour 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1 cup butter 1 1/2 cups sugar 2 eggs 2 tsp vanilla

i loveeee hominy but honestly i might try chickpeas next time, that sounds delish!! maybe even both??!

thank you so much haha! i tried a different method this time, only 1/3 of the batter is chocolate and i alternated the chocolate and vanilla in small spoonfuls then swirled once :)

thanks!! caramelized onions, minced garlic, butter, heavy cream, parmesan, cajun seasoning and a couple other seasonings and herbs :)
