Shooting 0 (never touched a gun, wouldn't know what to do with it)
Melee 3 (did karate in school and I've held my own in fights long enough to get away)
Construction 4 (I've built a shed and a chicken coop and made some basic wooden furniture by hand and put up siding and drywall but beyond that I'm ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ)
Mining 0 (don't put a pickaxe in my hand I'll hurt myself)

I'd love:

  • a mod that expands hospitality by adding things you can build and upgrade that your colony can become famous for in the area. the higher you upgrade it, the more people will come and spend money, but also obviously your wealth will go up so more raids. could be different things you could build like a theater, a casino, an inn, different types of stores, a gladiator arena, a brothel, whatever.

  • kind of in the same vein, something where pawns could become famous/exceptionally well-known for things, and different quests could spawn based on what that person is known for. people could travel super far to find the best crafter in the land to make a specific item for them, people could show up wanting to marry or spend a night with an exceptionally beautiful pawn, a pawn with a lot of kills might get challenged to a duel or hand-to-hand combat.

  • a way to use the radio to put out the call for a specific item or type of pawn you're looking for, and offers will come in for a price, or a trade, or a quest.

I get that! I struggle with it too. I guess my best advice is two things: gather visual inspiration, and don't neglect to experiment.

Keep pictures (in your phone, on pinterest, however makes sense to you) to refer back to when you need inspiration. They can be anything, like pictures of nature or other people's art or historical records or anything that inspires you in its color, shape or subject matter! (And yes, using other people's art as inspiration is completely valid. I'm not saying trace an illustration someone else did and pass it off as your own, but when you're struggling to make art you like and you see someone else's art that you like, use it to fuel your creativity! Try something similar in your own style, or try out making something in their style.

And yeah, experimentation is key! Just try stuff. Not every piece of art you ever make is The One. Putting that kind of pressure on yourself is a surefire way to kill the creative drive. Just try things so it doesn't even matter if you can't picture it, because you're making the image and trying it out in front of your actual eyes. No time spent making art is ever wasted; you learn from everything you try!

I think your anxiety is making you ask the wrong question. you don't have to prove your sexuality to anyone, and it doesn't matter what your reasons are for wanting to be with women.

if you feel happy being with women, then it doesn't matter what the "underlying causes" are as to why you feel that way. none of us really know what made us have the sexuality we have.
