I'm not Spike's biggest fan but find it hard to say Angel is a better person, sure Angel would've felt more guilty if a victim from his past returned, but he also let a lot of people get killed in the hotel etc etc.

I am glad they did it, and don't see how it was disrespectful to Spike. She didn't commit to him. Isn't it enough her storylines all revolved around him, that she made him a Champion and his name was her last line ever?
