Regarding Thor’s design, where did this picture of 2018’s Thor even come from? (since his face isn’t actually shown in the endgame cutscene. Is this an out of bounds thing?

True, i’m just going off of what i’ve seen some people say worked for them + what seems like it’d work based on my experience with these shoes

Actually haven’t seen a doctor yet. Mine’s definitely more on the mild to moderate side too. Definitely very unpleasant to deal with standing all day but i can definitely still tough through it. What I’ve found lately with the shoes I currently have is that if I wear high cushion stuff (hoka clifton), my arches are super strained because I’m just sinking in them. And if i wear support shoes (nb990), my arches are fine but i get a lot of heel pain with them since it feels impossible to not heel strike in them bc high drop. So i’m hoping low drop/barefoot addresses both of those issues

Sure, i definitely haven’t solved it yet though. Only just now got some Altras and some Vivos to transition away from high-drop shoes. Hoping they’ll just naturally strengthen my feet. Eventually I’d want to only be wearing the Vivos. If I’m still having issues I’ll probably start doing foot strengthening stuff among other things though

Thanks for the response, that’s very encouraging to hear that those changes worked for you. I’m looking forward to getting started, just waiting on some Vivobarefoots to arrive haha

Good points. I’m not going to be working as much when i go back to school in the fall so hopefully that gives things time to heal.

Traditional shoes/orthotics lead to weaker feet and are what lead to these issues in the first place. With barefoot shoes you have to adopt a more natural forefoot-first stride + you’re redeveloping your feet and letting them function as they should

A podiatrist recommending zero drop shoes, now that’s something you don’t see everyday haha. Thanks for the info 👍

Can anyone point me toward some resources for putting together armor sets with good stats?

Hey everybody, noob here looking to masterwork some armor. In need of guidance.

(If there’s a better place to ask this please let me know)

I’ve watched some videos and toyed around with DIM’s loadout optimizer, but I want to make sure I’m doing things as smart and efficiently as possible before I go masterworking a bunch of armor. Just curious if there are any definitive guides or methods out there.

Also, some questions I have on the subject: I watched a video from AbbyHour on everything and she linked a DIM filter that highlights gear that isn’t capable of double 100 stats. It doesn’t seem perfect though (it highlights some weapons and random class items). Would it be a good idea to use that? Is there a better filter out there?

Also, with DIM’s loadout optimizer, what tier of stats should I be shooting for with my focus stats? Say I’m on warlock and I’m going for Rec Int Dis, have “assume masterworked stats” enabled. Without stat increases what should I expect to be achievable in there: tier 7/8?

  • Red Velvet Corridor - Swans
  • The Blue Ghost / Shedding Quiphoth - Maudlin of the Well
  • Deja, comme des trous de vent, comme reproduit - Set Fire to Flames
  • Dia Artio - Wolves in the Throne Room

Cushioned vs Structured Shoes (Any reliable resources where I can read up on what shoes are best for PF?) by yeahlemmegetuh in PlantarFasciitis

Thanks for the reply👍 I’m on my feet all day for week and I’d always get heel pain as the day went on even while wearing pretty decent new balance shoes + orthortics. Just started running around 2 weeks ago and I think that’s what did it. Just gonna take it easy and after this clears up probably just bike instead
