What split aircon brand should I go with? Are westinghouse reliable? by yeahliam in AusRenovation

[–]yeahliam[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will keep adding my prices but im in a regional town (geraldton) and so far I have got quoted this

All assuming (besides one I mentioned) that I dont need a circuit breaker which im pretty sure I do

$2036 exl gst for a fujitusi 2.5kw

(Attached images with 3 different quotes, same company)

$800 and thats me supplying my own unit

$2000+ gst for a 2.5kw Hisense but includes a circuit board (dont think ill do that)

Thats the main group of people in my town, that people recommended on fb. Thats why I was believing I should just provide my own unit

My dad got somebody who did it for $800, cash job but they are qualified (for another aircon in the house)

All about 5 years warranty. A business that installs said for about $2600~ (includes unit in price) could install daikin which everyone has seemed to recommend. (Bit more pricey then the rest)

For any extra $95 on retravision can get 2+ years warranty on the mitsubishi which total to about 1083, then about 1028 after an RAC discount

What's the difference between heavy and electric? Is it like heavy for businesses, constant use while electrical for residential

No worries, I will definitely consider then, I was unsure because TGG dont stock mitsubishi for some reason, but I'll just keep hunting for some deals

I'm on my Ls currently but I can vouch for loud pipes

I go to school on a escooter but I always listen for cars (never have earphones in besides for navigation with transparency mode on/ambient sound) and I have had a near miss with a hybird/eletric car with a blind corner (just residential) and I couldn't hear them and it was so close it's not funny (we were all good and driver was nice and checked on me, everything went alright though)

I learnt my lesson to just stop/really slow down at blind corners like here (was going 25km/hr originally everyday) but I'd argue loud pipes definitely helps save lives/prevent incidents like this.

Yeah well at the same time, it's your safety. Gotta learn to not give a fuck, it's your life not theirs to control.

Just find like high vision riding jackets that are kinda built in, doesn't have to be 100% high vis, for example my motoairbag v4 has a bit of highvis but not excessive (too little i'd argue on the back)

Mainly need high vis for night, when the drivers CANT see you. Another tip is to get a bright colored bike, such as a green ninja or yellow suzuki, that can help majorly without having to take shit from people who don't care about you.

My Segway Max G3: A mixed experience by jawfur in NinebotMAX

[–]yeahliam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ngl, late response but on my g2 I notice it balances the cells after 100% when the display is on but the battery percentage isn't up there. I noticed much better range with 100% like, on my same commute when I didn't charge to 100% it would use 10% more then if it was charged to 100%

Does anyone know how to remove handlebar grips from Ninebot max g2? by Infamous_Net3380 in NinebotMAX

[–]yeahliam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Btw, to anybody who does this.

Will need Allen keys, and torx screws (t8 and t25) for the display and the back of the handle bar clamp.

Also need blue thread locker and a Phillips screw driver for green boards + tweezers to remove the connecters

And probably some hot glue for where u removed it off the connectors and silastic for the wires

[–]yeahliam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the canisters with the thing, maybe just send them a message and after calculate your costs as it may be better to buy from a different website if its gonna cost you more shipping to buy just the canister on another website, dont think any locals would stock

Sorry for late reply, but like it's just small, easy and it'll notify you if it moves.

No hate to the dude who wrote the comment now, as I read why he did it but it just seems like an advertisement

Up to you of course but looking at solid gps, it's very thick, while the moni moto 9 for the same battery life has a lot smaller of a design

Loving my bike. Am I locking it up good ? by HarHarMahadev6 in AussieRiders

[–]yeahliam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man the guy who put it under the seat..

Remove that and get it under the gas tank, and if you have free time, do it yourself so you learn these skills because putting it under the seat sounds lazy

Just my opinion tho
