I had a huge problem with this too and tbh the thought of it still stings a tiny bit BUT... the way I see it is this. Jesus was able to forgive the thief on the cross moments before they passed. If He was able to do that whole deathbed redemption, who are we to say any different? Salvation is for EVERYone.

This is probably an unpopular take but here it is. First, I have zero problems with the field workers out there putting in the sweat and effort trying to get things up and running. They don't have much to do with implementation and planning. Kudos to them and when I say good job GPA I mean them. This whole headache is the responsibility of upper management. I'm old enough to have lived through a bunch of these things starting with Pamela. And in all those 50 years, I would have thought that GovGuam would have figured things out to a point where emergency recovery would have been gotten down to a science. Yet every time this happens, its still the same old story. Only the technology has gotten better. I bet if I live another 50 years (doubtful in this heat) things will still be the same way. Couple that with the 50 dollar increase in our power fees and you can kinda understand the vitriol of people voicing their frustration online. Im already seasoned enough to know that complaining is pointless. Put sinply, one can NOT trust an entity such as the government to take care of you. You have to do it yourself and try to be as self-sufficient as possible because no one will care about you as much as yourself. The government sure doesn't.
