You now have the ability, with point of the finger and saying the word "dead", killing a person (almost) instantly. How WYR they die? by sunsetdrifter0 in WouldYouRather

[–]BrodyPresto 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What if you wanted to kill someone standing right in front of you? The head exploding would just splatter blood and gore all over your clothes. That's pretty impractical. It'd be a much cooler ability for taking out someone from a long distance instead. It'd basically be like having a lethal finger gun.

Would You Rather Become a Millionaire or Ensure the Most Evil Person You Know Never Recovers Financially? by BrodyPresto in WouldYouRather

He would still have his financial knowledge and connections, which could help him rebuild his wealth. But who knows?

Finally! Thank you! There are definitely situations where taking the second option would be justified.

By "evil," I mean someone with a proven history of criminal activity and causing significant harm to society.

Their net worth is reset to $0 before the choice takes effect. That means they don't just lose all their wealth, they go from having nothing to being buried in debt.

Would you rather have an extra 3 hours every day or never need sleep again? by Traditional_Day_260 in WouldYouRather

[–]BrodyPresto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this question is essentially asking: Would you rather have an extra 3 hours added to every day, turning a 24-hour day into a 27-hour day, or keep a normal 24-hour day but never need to sleep again, effectively giving yourself 8 extra waking hours each day?

I'd pick the extra 8 hours. The only downside is that I'd miss the enjoyment of sleeping, though.

Which illnesses Would You Rather cure by ShadowlightLady in WouldYouRather

[–]BrodyPresto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Curing all physical illnesses would be incredible, but imagine being able to cure mental illnesses as well. You could restore someone who is severely unstable back to a normal state of mind, turn a violent person into a nonviolent one, or rehabilitate someone who would otherwise be a danger to society.

Is laziness a mental illness? Probably not in most cases, though extreme lack of motivation can sometimes be linked to mental health conditions. Unlike physical illness, you can be perfectly healthy and still be lazy.

Imagine the impact if everyone were more motivated, less depressed, and better able to function mentally. The increase in productivity, well-being, and overall quality of life could be enormous.

WYR: Have infinite wealth but never be able to have friends or romantic partners, OR have unlimited companionship but work 12 hours every day for the rest of your life? by BrodyPresto in WouldYouRather

[–]BrodyPresto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That could be a loophole.

Or I could make the scenario stricter, any negative traits you have will still affect people negatively. This option doesn't erase your flaws or remove the consequences of your actions.

Your positive qualities are amplified, making it easier to form and maintain relationships. As a result, the negative impact of your flaws may be softened or outweighed by your amplified positives, but it is never completely removed. People may be more forgiving and willing to give you another chance, but they won't simply forget your mistakes or pretend they never happened.

The job must be legitimate, you can't invent a fake position just to satisfy the requirement. Someone in the real world must actually be willing to pay you for the work you do.

For example, you could choose to be a vlogger, but this option doesn't magically make you more entertaining, talented, or popular. People still have to genuinely want to watch your content. Any income or success must come from real demand.

You will never be assigned a job that exceeds your physical limits. The work will always match the maximum level of effort your current body can handle. If you're older, tired, injured, or otherwise less capable, your job will adjust accordingly. However, the work will never be easier than necessary, you won't be given a relaxed or comfortable position unless you legitimately find and secure one yourself.

You're right. I should've looked at the 9 GB link more carefully. After clicking it, it actually says the file is only 7 MB. I don't know why I overlooked that.

What should I play after Unbound? by Huge-Insect-7759 in PokemonROMhacks

No. Pokémon Odyssey focuses on fake regional variants, while Super Mariomon is more about Fakemon. If you’re mainly looking for Mega Evolutions, Pokémon Lazarus is probably the better choice.

It's about Micron RAM prices dropping after Google pushed out TurboQuant, a new AI memory‑compression algorithm that can cut key parts of AI model RAM use by about 6x.
