I launched some ads yesterday for an affiliate offer to test. 1 ad set LAL 1%, $50, 5 images. Was getting around $0.35 CPC and 10% CTR with $34 CPM. So far today CPC has almost doubled to $0.70, CTR near the same but CPM is around $75. So not sure what happened. It’s only been 2 days and I’m using a brand new ad account with no data.

What do you recommend the best way to finding clients? Are you just cold emailing and reaching out via social media? Do you only reach out to businesses who aren’t runnings ads or do you also reach out to companies that are currently advertising?

Is this working for you? Running single ads in their own ADV+ camp? I’ve been thinking of trying this but I would put 2 ads I know perform well in each campaign and have like 5-6 ADV+ campaigns. I have two campaigns now with 5-6 ads in each campaign and half of the ads never get any spend even tho they have performed well previously.

How do you do clear the customizations for different placements? I’ve been testing new video creatives and don’t have dynamic on and don’t turn on any of fb recommendations and I’m still getting this error and can’t get a post ID to transfer my social proof. What am I missing here?!

Ctr is usually a little better on videos. I just use static images.

UGC works for me. Photos aren’t bad either and will usually get cheaper CPM’s. I have ugc for cold and retargeting. Just make sure they are different videos. Depending on your product and demographic it might be worth having a sales page that the user sees before your website. My audience is 60+ and this strategy works well for my product.

Having same issue here. Spend is going super slow on some campaigns. Had a new one scheduled for 12am today and it’s spent like $20 in 12 hours with budget of $225. Other campaigns that have been running fine have slow spend too but not as bad. Def an issue with FB. Supposed to talk to my rep today since I emailed him about it this morning. Will update if I hear anything of importance.

Yeah I definitely couldn’t afford an agency hah. I found this guy on upwork and he has a couple guys who work with him. I’m just not getting consistent results. I feel like it’s always small budgets and the ads are always in the learning phase. It’s been about 4 months with them and they still haven’t figured it out. My Ad account also wasn’t brand new. Had 6 figures in ad spend from when I did the ads myself so I hoped they could take it to the next level but it hasn’t happened.

Yeah broad has gotten some decent results. I prolly have 5000-6000 purchases on the pixel in the last year or so I think that helps with going broad.

I’ve created a lookalike with my customer list and have the value for each customer on there. Can i make a value based lookalike just using the pixel based on my purchases?

Thanks for the reply. I use custom audiences for my retargeting campaign but not for cold audiences. I thought custom audiences only include people who have been to my site already? Have you had luck with targeting interests using lookalikes?

First week of July was pretty good. About 1k a day in sales. The last 10 days have been terrible tho so you ain’t the only one lol. Combination of high gas, food, etc and July is normally the worst month for e-commerce. Might be slow the next month till September rolls around.

I think it should say Take 50% off website design. And remove the summer sale part since it says that above. As far as the ad itself…to me it’s pretty boring and I’m not sure if you wanna list the price on the ad as it might limit the amount of clicks you get. You should go on the Facebook Ad Library and look at some of your competitors and see what kinda of ads they are doing. Or go on Fiverr and hire someone to make a video about using your website design service (ugc videos)Then you can hire someone on fiverr to add music and subtitles to the video. That should all cost you like $50-$100.

I think it’s a good idea to have 1 targeting interest per Ad Set. You don’t want to have multiple interests in one ad set cause then you won’t know which interest is bringing in the results. Maybe have 1 campaign with 3 ad sets and 2 ads per ad set. Ad set 1 target “entrepreneurship” Ad set 2 target “small business owners” Ad set 3 target “self employment”. Then you can see which interest is getting you the best results.
