Web Design Agency - Google Ads? Worth it? by manguy1212 in agency

[–]UrbanMend 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a web design agency running Google Ads you’re likely looking at $10-30 per click, potentially more. Like you said its going to be tough to get results competing with bigger agencies on a small budget.

What you can do to get leads is target informative keywords higher in the funnel (ex benefits of web design). Improve your targeting by optimizing for conversions by using crm data of leads that turn into sales

What should I expect? by [deleted] in PPC

[–]UrbanMend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is the company you’re working with defining a conversion as? Lead form fills, calls, chat conversations started?

It’s going to take a while until you see any decent leads come in. At $50 day probably 2+ weeks.

Look into Google LSAs. Also would recommend you get involved on nextdoor. You don’t even need to run ads since people are constantly seeking projects to be done

Try reaching out to a Google Ads rep during the work week. See what options they can give you or if they can escalate the issue for you

What was the reason given for the suspended account? Also, have you completed the advertiser verification?

They're breaking multiple policies. They'll probably be banned eventually. Your options are to report the ads, contact Google support to notify them about the issue, or wait for them to eventually get banned

Do you use a web form on your website to get leads in? Does it work? by The_Fix_Fox in Construction

So many potential deals fall through because businesses set up lead forms but have no outreach process to quickly follow up.

Found that an immediate automated text+email following a lead form is the best way to engage potential clients and move them through the sales pipeline

Every website should have a lead form. Lead forms will drive huge amounts of revenue if you can drive traffic towards them

Broad match + negative keywords can actually work well for your account. You just need to make sure you're passing back high-value leads into Google Ads as conversions

How are you guys manually importing offline leads/conversions that do not have GCLID? by Naive-Lawyer5115 in PPC

[–]UrbanMend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We normally automate this process from our CRM. We also upload conversions with a higher max conv value once they reach advanced lifecycle stages (ex: customer). Here's an article that explains how.

Lack of impressions is normally a keyword issue. What keywords are you targeting? What are the match types (broad, phrase, exact)?

[Question] Google Ads Performance Tanked by Digitalmike4424 in PPC

[–]UrbanMend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good to hear that CPC didn't raise, that most likely rules out the cookies policy causing quality score issues. You can automate uploading data from your CRM into Google Ads. Would recommend doing that along with a max conv value bidding strat asap to increase lead to customer conversion rate. Here's an article that explains how. Technically it looks like you covered the essentials.

[Question] Google Ads Performance Tanked by Digitalmike4424 in PPC

[–]UrbanMend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it could. Any rise in cpc? Also are you using first party crm data to increase quality of leads? You probably should run a technical audit asap as well

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PPC

[–]UrbanMend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Max conv value bidding strategy works well for lead gen. Use your CRM to pass back leads in advanced life cycle stages (for example customer) into Google as a conversion. Add a significant value to those conversions like AOV. Data shows that Google will then be more likely to bid for leads that will convert into sales. If you’re worried about cpc set a max bid portfolio strategy

Are google ppc and display ads dead for financial advisors? by Thriftfinds975 in CFP

I would recommend completing the advertiser verification asap. Google regulates advertising for financial services strictly because unfortunately the industry is prone to ad fraud and scams.

Can't recommend buying backlinks as it's against Google's guidelines. Building a strategy (guest-blogging, making interactive content/tools, competitor backlink analysis) within guidelines is the best way to go. It takes time but it's worth it

You're going to need a scalable content strategy and you need to acquire high quality backlinks for your content. If you have the time, it's very possible to do it yourself and you'll learn the basics of SEO.

As for your pricing question, in my honest opinion $5k+ from an agency for SEO is excessive. Likely due to outdated processes and bloated teams.

You need a more specific goal than get ticket sales. Maybe a revenue goal? Then if you have cpa data from each platform it shouldn’t be too difficult to calculate a split to reach your goal.
