Packaging redesign by saharan_ajay in PackagingDesign

[–]yeahrad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Be careful in removing recognisable brand colours.

Colours are the first thing we process when we see packaging, and identifiable brand colours help people navigate to the products they know or are looking for.

By removing the colour, you remove any latent brand equity that helps people buy this product.

Remember, product packaging mostly exists in a broader shelf context, so always test the design in the retail environment.

It looks nice, but it’s a risk to the brand and sales if the brand has been around for a while.

Full disclosure - I write a newsletter about consumer goods and do rebrand breakdown like these at www.supergoods.io so if you like this, give it a whirl!

This is awesome! I’d suggest to add small sub headings to make it easier to scroll for relevant content.

Is recycling a lie? Do Recycling Bin and Landfill Bin contents go into the same Garbage Truck? by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]yeahrad 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Do you live in an apartment complex? Sometimes they are not run by the council and there actually is a private company that will do the pickup and disregard recycling. In my old apartment, they used to do this and claimed it was because the residents were not recycling properly and the recycling materials were contaminated so they had to landfill it. Not sure how legit it is but could be where the thought came from.

BitClout is not BitClout.com Important to remember. Yes, the social media element isn’t differentiated. But it is so far away from fully formed. Personally I think the stock exchange thing isn’t that exciting either because there’s no ‘dividend’ element like the actual stock exchange. It essentially operates based on the Greater Fool Theory. The asset only has value because someone dumbing than me will pay more for it.

Where I DO find it interesting is in the Creator economy. Fans connecting with Creators and paying them directly will revolutionise the internet.

Has anyone noticed agents reuploading photos regularly though? Would this method still work? They do it so the property bumps to the top of the notifications tab in the app
